ZXMOTO is now setting its sights on the overall championship after securing a fifth victory of the 2026 FIM Supersport World Championship season at the Czech Round on Sunday.
French rider Valentin Debise once again delivered a dominant performance for EASTROC ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing by completing a clean sweep of victories at Autodrom Most.
The double victory marked Debise’s fifth win of the season and further strengthened ZXMOTO’s growing challenge for the WorldSSP title.
Starting from pole position, Debise controlled most of Race 2 despite intense pressure from Can Oncu of Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing.
The Turkish rider eventually settled for second place, extending his streak to five consecutive podium finishes.
Meanwhile, Oli Bayliss completed the podium for PTR Triumph Factory Racing after benefiting from late-race crashes involving several front runners.

Debise Climbs to Second in Championship
Following the victory, Debise moved up to 147 championship points and climbed into second overall in the WorldSSP standings.
Speaking after the race, the French rider credited the team and manufacturer for the bike’s continuous improvements throughout the season.
“Thanks to my team. They improved the bike again, and I felt very comfortable,” said Debise.
“The pace was very fast today. Thanks to ZXMOTO, thanks to the team. Now we keep working for the next race.”
The latest result also marks another major milestone for Chinese manufacturer ZXMOTO, which has rapidly emerged as one of the biggest surprises of the 2026 WorldSSP campaign.
ZXMOTO founder Zhang Xue admitted the team is now fully targeting the championship title after another successful weekend.
“This win is especially significant because it will greatly boost our overall points. Now we can aim for the yearly title!” he said according to CCTV News.
Zhang also joked about the team’s recent winning form following Saturday’s Race 1 success.
“What are we gonna do since we’re getting used to winning,” he said humorously after ZXMOTO secured its fourth win of the season during Race 1.

Championship Drama at Most
The Czech Round also featured major championship drama involving standings leader Albert Arenas.
The Spaniard initially remained inside the leading group before running wide and later crashing out following a separate incident during his battle with Jaume Masia.
Masia himself was later handed a Long Lap Penalty before crashing out as well.
Another contender, Roberto Garcia, also failed to finish after crashing while fighting near the front.
The closing laps became even more dramatic when Lucas Mahias and Tom Booth-Amos collided while battling for podium positions.
The incident opened the door for Bayliss to secure third place behind Debise and Oncu.
Aldi Mahendra Returns to Top Five
Indonesian rider Aldi Mahendra also impressed after finishing fourth for AS BLU CRU Racing Team, marking his best result since his podium finish earlier this season in Australia.
Matteo Ferrari completed the top five while Jeremy Alcoba dropped down the order following post-race penalties.
With momentum now clearly on their side, ZXMOTO heads into the next round carrying genuine hopes of fighting for the 2026 WorldSSP crown.
