MODA has officially introduced the new Sporter-S SKII during a media launch held at Carfe, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, today, marking the latest evolution of its popular Sporter-S scooter.
Introduced in Malaysia by MDua Motor Sdn Bhd, the distributor of MODA motorcycles, the 2026 MODA Sporter-S SKII is priced at RM17,998, excluding road tax, insurance and registration. This represents a RM10 increase over the previous Sporter-S, which was launched in January 2025 at RM17,888. The Sporter-S SKII is available in two colour options, Porsche White and Titan Blue.
The latest model retains the same engine and chassis as the previous Sporter-S. Power comes from a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve SOHC engine with Bosch electronic fuel injection, producing 24.8hp at 8,500rpm and 22.5Nm of torque at 6,500rpm.
The scooter rides on a 15-inch front wheel fitted with a 120/70 tyre, while the rear uses a 14-inch wheel with a 140/60 tyre. Braking is handled by twin 260mm hydraulic discs at the front and a single 240mm disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS offered as standard.
One of the main updates on the Sporter-S SKII is the new 7-inch TFT touchscreen display, which supports touchscreen operation and Bluetooth connectivity with the rider’s smartphone. The display also features a six-page data logger showing various engine parameters.
The Sporter-S SKII weighs 184kg, making it 2kg lighter than the previous model, while fuel tank capacity remains at 13 litres. Ground clearance is rated at 165mm.
Styling changes include aerodynamic carbon-fibre winglets on the sides of the front cowl, high-luminance signal lights, daytime running lights and alloy wing mirrors designed to improve rearward visibility. The scooter also gains an electronically adjustable windscreen and a front digital camera dashcam, adding to its touring and daily-riding equipment.
Meanwhile, MODA has revised the rear suspension of the Sporter-S SKII based on feedback from existing Sporter-S customers. The updated setup is designed to improve road handling and comfort for daily commuting, leisure riding and longer-distance journeys.
The latest updates are in line with MODA’s “By Bikers, For Bikers” philosophy, with the brand continuing to develop its motorcycles around the needs and feedback of local riders.
