Performance motorcycle parts manufacturer RCB has officially acquired an authentic Moto2 racing machine from the Aspar Team. Raced by RCB athlete and Grand Prix contender David Alonso, the acquisition represents a strategic initiative to boost the brand’s engineering capabilities and technical development.
The Moto2 bike will serve primarily as an active research and development (R&D) platform. By dissecting and analyzing Grand Prix specifications, extreme component loads, and track telemetry, RCB aims to directly transfer technologies proven on world-class circuits into its commercially available aftermarket products.
For RCB, participation in world championship racing extends past brand awareness. The company views elite motorsports as an essential testing ground for engineering teams to validate performance solutions under extreme conditions.

“For us, this is not just about branding. The real purpose is to strengthen our technical capabilities and, most importantly, to put our technical knowledge into implementation,” said Doc Dol, Business and Motorsports Director of MKA Group.
“What we learn from racing can be translated into our commercial products. The experience, data and technical knowledge gained from a Moto2 machine allow our engineers to better understand performance requirements and continuously improve the products that eventually reach riders at the track and on the road,” he added.
The Moto2 platform, which carried David Alonso through his intermediate class campaign, will function as a technical benchmark for component design, structural rigidity, heat dissipation, and material strength.
