The race got underway with real intent, flagged off by Pio Marmaï. From the opening laps, the tempo was already high, with clean launches at the front and a few early setbacks that began shaping the order almost immediately.
Starting from fifth, Florian Marino made one of the sharpest getaways of the field. He quickly pushed the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team KM99 Yamaha into a leading position, showing strong pace and confidence right from the start. It looked promising, but the lead did not hold for long. The No. 5 Honda of F.C.C. TSR Honda France responded decisively and moved ahead, setting the early benchmark.
Not long after, Tati Team AVA6 Racing added to the action by overtaking the Yamaha No. 99, only for their charge to end abruptly with a crash within the first thirty minutes. That incident marked the first major disruption of the race and forced a reshuffle in the running order.

Taking advantage was YART Yamaha Official EWC. The reigning champions stayed composed and began working their way forward, eventually settling into second place. They are currently about 15 seconds behind the leading Honda, but their pace has been steady and controlled, which could prove valuable as the race develops.
Close behind, Yoshimura SERT Motul remains within reach. The Suzuki outfit continues to apply pressure, though the Yamaha team has managed to keep them at bay for now.
Attention is now turning to pit strategy. As the first round of stops approaches, decisions on timing, tyres, and rider changes will start to influence the standings. With the field already shaken up in the early phase, the next chapter of the race could look very different.
