CFMOTO has secured a second consecutive victory at Le Mans following a commanding performance from Máximo Quiles in a rain-affected Moto3 race at the French Grand Prix.
The young Spanish rider delivered a masterclass in wet conditions, leading from the opening lap to the chequered flag. With confidence and control on a slippery track, Quiles crossed the finish line nearly two seconds ahead of his closest rival, marking his third win in just five races and extending his impressive debut-season form.

Wet-weather Moto3 race challenges riders in shortened French GP
Heavy rain, as forecasted, played a decisive role in the Moto3 race, forcing organisers to reduce the distance to 13 laps due to the lack of wet-track running earlier in the weekend.
Despite the limited experience in rainy conditions across the grid, Quiles adapted instantly. Starting from the front row, he immediately took control of the race and steadily built a gap of over two seconds. His composed riding ensured he avoided mistakes while managing tyre grip in challenging conditions.
With this victory, his second consecutive win, Quiles remains unbeaten on the podium this season and now leads the championship standings by 46 points, further strengthening his title challenge.

Mixed fortunes for CFMOTO Aspar Team in Moto3
Team-mate Marco Morelli also showed strong pace early in the race, climbing into third position and holding a podium spot in the opening stages. However, difficult track conditions and low temperatures made consistency challenging.
Mid-race, Morelli crashed in the final corners but managed to rejoin the race. He fought back through the field to eventually finish 13th, adding valuable points and maintaining sixth place in the championship with 48 points.

Moto2 drama as weather shortens race weekend
The Moto2 race also saw major disruption, becoming one of the shortest races in recent memory after being reduced to 14 laps, and later further shortened due to weather interruptions.
CFMOTO Aspar Team riders Dani Holgado and David Alonso both faced a difficult Sunday. Holgado suffered a heavy crash on the opening lap, but a red flag allowed him to return to the garage. The team worked quickly to repair his bike, getting him back on track just before the pit lane closed for the restart.
Restarting in extremely demanding conditions and carrying physical pain from his earlier crash, Holgado pushed through to finish 11th, although he was later disqualified for starting without a front fender.
Meanwhile, David Alonso managed a strong and controlled ride despite ongoing discomfort in his right shoulder. Taking advantage of the shortened race distance, he pushed early to gain positions and even challenged for fourth place. However, prioritising safety, he ultimately secured a solid fifth-place finish.
