Trackhouse Racing has confirmed that Raul Fernandez will continue with the team for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
This announcement follows his impressive front-row performance at the German GP and precedes his upcoming debut on the 2024 Aprilia RS-GP at the Monster Energy British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
Since the inception of the Trackhouse project aiming to enter the MotoGP World Championship in November 2023, Fernandez has fully embraced the vision of building a competitive American team at the pinnacle of motorcycle racing.
Since his first test, the 23-year-old Spaniard has pushed the limits of his Trackhouse Aprilia RS-GP23, steadily gaining speed, consistency, and confidence, becoming a key figure in his team.
“I’m super happy to remain with Trackhouse Racing MotoGP,” said Fernandez. “This new project with Justin [Marks] and Davide [Brivio] is fantastic, and they have built a very good team. Hearing their future plans, which are very clear, has always made it a priority for me to stay with the team.”
“I’m thrilled to be here for the next two years, but this also means a lot of work ahead. We’ll have full factory material in 2025 and 2026, which is great news. Right now, we’re preparing to start with a new bike mid-year to gear up for next season. It’s important to stay calm, understand everything about the bike, and prepare for the 2025 season. Trackhouse Racing MotoGP is an amazing team, and I love the ideas behind this American organization.”
Fernandez entered MotoGP in 2022 after a stellar 2021 Moto2 season, where he was a close runner-up with eight wins, breaking multiple records in his rookie campaign.
His MotoGP career has seen steady growth, and in 2024, he has shown his true potential within the supportive environment of the Trackhouse garage. The guidance of Team Principal Davide Brivio has also been instrumental in shaping his approach to racing.
Trackhouse Racing’s decision to retain Fernandez highlights their commitment to his development and the team’s future performance. Fernandez will switch to the latest spec RS-GP24 at the upcoming Silverstone round, with the team eagerly anticipating his prospects for the remainder of the season and the next two years.
