Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP has officially confirmed that GILLES Tooling GmbH will remain an Official Sponsor for another three years after both parties signed a new agreement running from the 2026 MotoGP season through to the end of 2028.

The renewed partnership further strengthens a relationship that began in 2015 and has become an important part of Yamaha’s MotoGP programme. Throughout the 2026 season, the GILLES logo will continue to appear on the Yamaha YZR-M1 machines ridden by Fabio Quartararo and Álex Rins, reflecting the company’s ongoing support of the factory team.

A Partnership Built on Innovation and Performance

Over the past decade, Yamaha and GILLES have shared a common philosophy centred on innovation, reliability, high performance, and continuous technical development.

Founded by former motorcycle racer Gerhard Gilles, GILLES Tooling GmbH has spent more than 25 years designing and manufacturing premium motorcycle components for both racing and street motorcycles. The company’s engineering expertise and commitment to quality have made it one of the most respected names in the motorcycle industry.

Its close collaboration with the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team also allows GILLES to gather valuable technical feedback from one of the world’s most competitive racing environments. The knowledge gained on the MotoGP circuit is then applied to the development of products for everyday riders, ensuring that race-proven technology benefits customers worldwide.

Premium Components for Every Type of Rider

GILLES offers a wide range of premium motorcycle components designed to improve both performance and rider comfort. Its product lineup caters to supersport motorcycles, naked bikes, touring models, and supermoto machines.

The company continues to focus on combining racing performance with everyday practicality through precise engineering, improved ergonomics, and high manufacturing standards.

Yamaha Looks Forward to the Next Chapter

Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team Director Massimo Meregalli welcomed the extension of the partnership, highlighting the importance of trusted technical partners in modern MotoGP.

“MotoGP demands the highest standards in every area, and trusted technical partners play an important role in helping us achieve our objectives. Over the years, GILLES has consistently demonstrated a strong dedication to quality, performance, and functionality. We are pleased to continue our partnership and look forward to working together throughout the next chapter of Yamaha’s and also MotoGP’s journey.”

GILLES Proud to Continue Working with Yamaha

GILLES Tooling GmbH Founder Gerhard Gilles expressed his pride in extending the collaboration for another three years.

“We are very proud to continue our long-standing partnership with Yamaha MotoGP for another three years. Since the beginning of our collaboration in 2015, we have built a strong relationship based on mutual trust, technical expertise and a shared passion for performance. Supplying components for the Yamaha YZR-M1 is both a great honour and a valuable confirmation of the quality and functionality of our products. We look forward to continuing this successful journey together.”

Looking Ahead to 2028

With the new agreement secured until the end of the 2028 MotoGP season, both Yamaha and GILLES aim to continue pushing technological boundaries on and off the track. The partnership is expected to play an important role in supporting Yamaha’s pursuit of success in MotoGP while allowing GILLES to further refine its premium motorcycle components using insights gained from the highest level of motorcycle racing.
