The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has received the first 10 units of the Jebatt F29 All Terrain Tactical Assault E-Bike (ATEB) as part of a larger procurement involving 100 electric tactical motorcycles.
The handover ceremony was held at the lobby of Menara 1, PDRM Bukit Aman, where RTG Intech Corporation Sdn. Bhd. Management Director Mohamad Roslan Ramin symbolically handed over the replica key to Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Hj. Mohd Khalid Hj. Ismail.
The ceremony was also attended by Internal Security and Public Order Department (KDNKA) director CP Datuk Sri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri, as well as KDNKA deputy director (General Operations Force/Wildlife Crime Bureau/Special Intelligence Investigation) DCP Datuk Suzrin Mohd Rodhi.

The Jebatt F29 ATEB motorcycles were procured under the 12th Malaysia Plan (RMK-12), Fourth Rolling Plan, involving 100 e-bikes with a total procurement value of RM2.3 million.
According to PDRM, the procurement is intended to strengthen the operational readiness and mobility of the General Operations Force (PGA), particularly for missions in challenging terrain and areas that are difficult to access.
The electric tactical motorcycles are designed to support a range of operations, from border patrols and special high-risk operations to conflict management.
One of the key advantages of the Jebatt F29 ATEB is its near-silent operation, which allows personnel to move through operational areas with reduced noise compared with conventional motorcycles.
The motorcycle is capable of reaching a claimed maximum speed of 120 km/h and produces up to 850 Nm of torque. It is powered by a 72-volt, 60Ah battery and comes with a smart charging system designed to support faster and more flexible operations in the field.
With its all-terrain capability and electric powertrain, the Jebatt F29 ATEB is expected to provide PDRM personnel with greater mobility across various types of terrain while maintaining a lower acoustic signature.
The arrival of the new electric tactical motorcycles represents progress in PDRM’s efforts to modernise its operational assets and enhance the capabilities of the General Operations Force in responding to increasingly complex security challenges.
