MotoGP 26, the latest official MotoGP video game, has officially been released worldwide featuring the complete 2026 MotoGP season alongside major gameplay improvements, updated physics and expanded career management systems.
Developed to deliver a more immersive and realistic riding experience, MotoGP 26 introduces a newly reworked rider-based handling system where player movement and body positioning now play a much bigger role during riding.
The new physics system allows riders to feel more connected to the motorcycle, with body shifts and weight transfer directly affecting braking stability, cornering behaviour and overall bike control. Combined with updated rider animations, the gameplay now offers smoother and more responsive handling in both Pro and Arcade modes.
One of the biggest additions this year is the introduction of Dynamic Rider Ratings, where rider performance evolves throughout the season based on real-world racing results.

For the first time, every rider now features a rating card built around four major attributes:
- Time Attack
- Race Pace
- Head-to-Head
- Reliability
This system gives players a clearer understanding of each rider’s strengths and weaknesses across the MotoGP grid.
Away from racing action, MotoGP 26 also introduces a more detailed and decision-based Career Mode.
Players can now navigate race weekends through a newly designed 3D paddock hub where media interactions, rivalries and contract negotiations become a major part of progression.
Thursday press conferences now allow players to respond to journalists, set personal goals and build relationships that may influence future opportunities in the transfer market.
A Personal Manager system has also been added to help guide players through team negotiations, manufacturer relationships and career decisions throughout the season.

In another feature heavily requested by fans, players are now able to take control of real riders from Moto3, Moto2 or MotoGP and completely rewrite their career journey from the lower classes all the way to the premier category.
MotoGP 26 also expands its Race Off mode with the addition of a new UK venue called Canterbury Park, joining existing locations such as Borgo Caselle and Mont Lagard.
The game further introduces Production Bikes events, allowing players to train using 1000cc road bikes alongside Motard, Flat Track and Minibikes disciplines, each featuring unique riding characteristics and handling styles.
Collectable card packs are another new addition, rewarding player progression across various game modes. Players can unlock over 100 collectible cards featuring riders, motorcycles and circuits, including exclusive artwork designed by renowned Japanese artist Ranka Fujiwara.
Multiplayer features have also received major upgrades with improved matchmaking systems, cross-play support and online races featuring grids of up to 22 players on supported platforms.
Local split-screen racing also returns, while advanced customisation editors allow players to create and share helmet designs, racing numbers and liveries with the community.
Interestingly, MotoGP 26 also introduces the new MotoGP 2026 Helmet Design Contest, where the winning custom helmet design will eventually be worn by a real MotoGP rider during an official race weekend.

MotoGP 26 is now available on:
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X|S
- Nintendo Switch 2
- Nintendo Switch
- ROG Xbox Ally
- ROG Xbox Ally X
- PC via Steam, Microsoft Store and Epic Games Store
The latest release continues to push the franchise closer towards a full simulation experience while still remaining accessible for casual players and long-time MotoGP gaming fans alike.
