An ordinary online browse turned into years of riding memories and loyalty towards iMotorbike.

Buying a motorcycle might sound simple to some people. Pick a bike, make payment, and ride home. But for most riders, especially when it comes to buying a used motorcycle, it’s never really that straightforward.

There’s a lot that happens before getting the bike started. Endless scrolling through marketplace ads, checking reviews, comparing prices, worrying about scams, and of course, those sleepless nights wondering whether the bike you chose is really the right one. That’s exactly why trust matters so much when buying a used motorcycle.

For many riders in Malaysia, one of the trusted places to search for pre-owned bikes is here at iMotorbike. From inspection reports to detailed listings, the platform has become a familiar name among riders looking for a smoother and safer buying experience.

But among the many customers who walk into our showroom, one rider stands out a little differently.

Razlan's 7-Bike Journey with iMotorbike

Meet En. Razlan, or better known as Abang Razlan, one of iMotorbike’s loyal customers who has purchased not one, not two, but seven motorcycles from iMotorbike over the years! His latest addition? A Kawasaki Versys 650.

What started with a random Facebook scroll eventually turned into a long-term relationship with the brand. “I first found this iMotorbike through a sponsored Facebook ad. At first I was just browsing, but after visiting the showroom and experiencing the service myself, I kept coming back” he shared.

What truly resonated with Abang Razlan was the personal connection he felt throughout the purchasing process. In an era where many brands are shifting toward AI-driven interactions, he found that the presence of actual human staff made his experience significantly more enjoyable and meaningful.

Not only that, he also praised the showroom team for their motorcycle knowledge and willingness to help customers understand the bikes better. Interestingly, being a regular customer also allowed him to witness the growth of the staff themselves over time.

“When I meet new staff, sometimes they look a bit awkward at first when talking to customers, but that’s normal,” he said with a laugh. “The next time I visit, I can already see their improvement and confidence growing. It’s nice to see that progression.”

One of the standout themes in Razlan’s journey has been the unrivaled speed of the buying process. He values a system that respects his time, joking that his decision-making is met with equally fast execution. “That’s how smooth the process is. If I come to the showroom today, there’s a high chance I’ll ride the bike home on the same day. For me, that level of convenience is everything.”

Beyond his own purchases, Razlan also utilizes the platform as a reliable price benchmark for the local market. Whether he’s advising a friend on a Yamaha R25 or scouting his next ride, iMotorbike serves as his primary point of reference.

By checking the platform’s listings first, he ensures his peers have a fair baseline to compare against other sellers, effectively using the site as a “gold standard” for transparency and pricing.

Motorcycling has been a lifelong thread for Abang Razlan, but his passion shifted gears during the pandemic. The MCO period marked his transition into serious long-distance touring, a journey that began with a trek to Royal Belum.

“My first proper long-distance ride was on a Benelli TRK 502,” he recalled, noting the bike’s impressive versatility across both paved roads and rugged off-road terrain.

When asked to pick a definitive favorite from his extensive history with iMotorbike, Abang Razlan didn’t hesitate. Although he has purchased seven different motorcycles through the platform over the years, the Aprilia Shiver 750 stands in a league of its own. He describes the Italian machine as a “raw” experience that stands in stark contrast to modern, electronically-governed bikes.

“It had very minimal riding aids and immense torque; it’s a bike that demands respect,” he explained. For Razlan, the challenge of mastering such a visceral machine is exactly where the thrill of riding lies.

While his garage is already impressive, the BMW R1300 GS remains the ultimate goal for Abang Razlan. Interestingly, his choice is driven by partnership rather than performance alone. “I love traveling with my spouse. For me, a touring bike is all about the comfort and practicality required for those long journeys together.”

To Razlan, a bike is an extension of his lifestyle. His long-standing relationship with iMotorbike reflects a simple truth: exceptional service creates the trust that keeps a community coming back. For those entering the market, Razlan’s endorsement is clear: “For quality, fair pricing, and a smooth experience, iMotorbike is definitely the place to go.”
