Young national rider, Hakim Danish Ramli, is determined to create the best results ahead of Round 4 of the World Motorcycle Championship (MotoGP) at the Spanish Grand Prix which will take place at the Jerez Circuit from 24th to 27th of April.
The Jerez circuit is no stranger to the 18-year-old rider. Previously, Hakim Danish had created a sensation when he managed to secure two consecutive second-place podiums in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup at the same circuit. This excellent record has given him additional motivation to chase positive results in his Moto3 appearance this time.

Intensive preparation in Spain is an advantage
After finishing the race at the United States GP (COTA) three weeks ago, the AEON Credit-MT Helmets-MSi rider chose to remain in Spain to undergo thorough preparation rather than returning home.
The period was taken full advantage of with intensive physical training including cycling, fitness training and riding sessions with other world championship riders. This preparation is seen as an important step to ensure he is at his best ahead of the race in Jerez.

Confident in strength on fast corners
Hakim Danish also aims to capitalise on his advantage in the high-speed corners, which are one of his main strengths. However, he is also aware that the real challenge at Jerez lies in the hard braking zones and the combination of technical corners that require a high level of focus throughout the race.
The 4.4-kilometre circuit has eight right-hand corners, five left-hand corners and a 607-metre straight, making it one of the most challenging circuits on the MotoGP calendar.
“After three weeks off, I’m really looking forward to getting back into action. I feel pretty pumped and motivated for this weekend’s race.”
“I’m staying in Spain to train with the other riders. Jerez is one of my favourite circuits because it has high-speed corners that I love. Even though there are ‘stop-and-go’ zones and ‘hard braking’, I’m confident I can give my best,” said Hakim Danish.
He also hopes for continued support from Malaysians in his efforts to achieve excellent results.

Big challenges but remain optimistic
Meanwhile, SIC Racing Team Manager, Zulfahmi Khairuddin, admitted that the challenge in Jerez was not easy given that most of the riders were familiar with the circuit.
However, he remains optimistic about Hakim Danish’s abilities despite facing difficulties during the previous pre-season session.
“The Jerez circuit will be a big challenge because many riders are used to training here. Especially because of Danish’s pre-season preparations that did not go smoothly due to accidents.
“However, the experience from the three races this season gives me confidence. We have set certain targets and I believe Danish will be able to be competitive as early as the free practice session,” he said.
Aim for a better position in the overall chart
After three rounds, Hakim Danish is now in 14th place overall with nine points. With his mental and physical preparation improving, he is expected to provide a tough challenge in Jerez.
This performance at the Spanish GP will be an important deciding factor for Hakim Danish in his efforts to improve his position and continue to strengthen his reputation as one of the country’s best young talents on the world stage.
