Young national racer, Hakim Danish Ramli, continued his consistent momentum when he successfully finished the 2026 Spanish GP race in the points group for the Moto3 competition at the Circuito de Jerez, Angel Nieto.
Representing the AEON Credit MT Helmets MSI team, Hakim Danish finished the race in 13th place with a time of 33 minutes 36.140 seconds, earning three important points. He finished 12.584 seconds behind race winner from Spain, Maximo Quiles of the CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team.
Confident start, fierce competition in the middle group
Starting from 10th place, Hakim Danish showed an excellent performance when he managed to jump to eighth position as early as the second round. However, fierce competition in the middle group saw him drop to 11th place in the fourth round, before falling to 14th place in the seventh round.
Despite the pressure, the Terengganu-born rider did not give up and managed to improve his pace in the final phase of the race. His efforts paid off when he improved his position to 13th place by the finish line.

Crucial points added, overall position strengthened
The result in Jerez sees Hakim Danish now able to collect 12 points overall for the season, placing him in 15th place in the Moto3 World Championship standings.
This achievement is considered positive considering that the Jerez Circuit is known as one of the most technically challenging circuits and is home to the world’s most elite riders. In the same race, his Japanese teammate, Ryusei Yamanaka, finished in 17th position.
Meanwhile, the Spanish GP podium was dominated by the home riders as Adrian Fernandez (Leopard Racing) finished the race in second place, followed by David Muñoz (Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP) in third place.
Focus shifts to the French GP at Le Mans
After the action in Jerez, the Hakim Danish is focusing now on preparing for the French GP at the Le Mans Circuit, which is scheduled to take place from May 8 to 10.
He is expected to improve the technical and tactical aspects of racing to improve his performance, with the goal of breaking into the world’s top 10 in the coming rounds.

Hakim Danish admits the challenges in high-speed corners
Commenting on his performance, Hakim Danish admitted that there were still several aspects that needed to be improved, especially in the high-speed corners.
“In the race earlier, I struggled a bit in the high-speed corners and lost a lot of time in that section. I need to improve my riding in some of those fast corners.”
I also managed to be in eighth position, but then I was overtaken again. The pace of the riders in the front group was very consistent and it was quite difficult for me to catch up.
“However, I didn’t give up and kept trying to catch up. In terms of tires, the choices made were quite good, but the machine adjustments still have room for improvement,” he said.
With the improvement shown and his high fighting spirit, Hakim Danish is seen to be on the right track to continue creating more encouraging results in the Moto3 competition this season.
