Powersports wireless communications leader Cardo Systems has teamed up with renowned motorcycle design firm Roland Sands Design (RSD) to create a limited-edition version of Cardo’s premium PackTalk Pro helmet communication system.

Dubbed the PackTalk Pro RSD, this exclusive model retains all the advanced features of the standard PackTalk Pro but boasts a sleek black-and-gold finish with RSD branding, making it a must-have for riders who demand both performance and style.

Only 1,000 units of the PackTalk Pro RSD will be produced, each including a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and an exclusive RSD carry bag. The collaboration was spearheaded by Roland Sands, founder of RSD, who emphasized the shared values of both brands.

“Cardo has consistently set the standard for motorcycle communication technology, and our brands share a similar commitment to ultra-high performance and style,” said Sands. “When the opportunity arose to create a limited edition together, we jumped at it.”

PackTalk Pro RSD: Advanced Features for the Modern Rider

The Cardo Packtalk Pro is a premium motorcycle helmet communication system. The PackTalk Pro can establish mesh networks of up to 15 riders. Users also can connect to smartphones, GPS devices, and other Bluetooth-enabled instruments.

The unit attaches to the helmet exterior and is IP67 water and dust-resistant. It has a built-in FM radio and supports over-the-air updates (OTA) for new features and enhancements.

The PackTalk Pro’s headline technologies include enhanced audio with 45mm JBL speakers, auto on/off to preserve battery life when you’re not moving, and crash detection.

The crash detection unit uses an inertial measurement unit (IMU) to detect significant impacts. When the system senses a crash, it sends a text message alert to a pre-designated contact with your geolocation.

Limited Availability – A Collector’s Item for Discerning Riders

Priced at $499, the PackTalk Pro RSD Limited Edition is now available exclusively on Cardo Systems’ website. With only 1,000 units in production, this collaboration between two industry giants is set to become a sought-after collector’s piece for motorcycle enthusiasts.

For riders who refuse to compromise on technology, design, or exclusivity, the PackTalk Pro RSD delivers on all fronts.
