CFMOTO Malaysia has officially introduced the all-new CFMOTO 1000MT-X at the Malaysia Bike Show 2026, expanding its adventure touring lineup alongside the launch of the new 750SR-S sportbike.

Distributed by MForce Bike Holdings, the 1000MT-X is priced at RM51,888 excluding road tax, insurance and registration. The adventure tourer is available in three colour options: Grey, Green and Blue.

Positioned as CFMOTO’s flagship adventure motorcycle, the 1000MT-X is designed to tackle both long-distance touring and off-road adventures with a combination of performance, comfort and advanced technology.

CFMOTO 1000MT-X

At the heart of the motorcycle is a 946.2cc liquid-cooled DOHC parallel-twin engine equipped with electronic fuel injection (EFI). Paired to a six-speed transmission with a slipper clutch, the powerplant produces 113 hp at 8,500 rpm and 105 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm.

Built with adventure riding in mind, the 1000MT-X rides on a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel wrapped in Pirelli tyres. Suspension duties are handled by a fully adjustable Kayaba setup at both ends, allowing riders to fine-tune the motorcycle according to riding conditions and personal preferences.

Further improving stability is an adjustable steering damper featuring up to 20 levels of adjustment. Braking performance comes courtesy of premium Brembo hardware, featuring twin 320 mm front brake discs and a 260 mm rear disc.

The electronics package is equally impressive, with Bosch-sourced rider aids including ABS, Cornering ABS and a three-level traction control system. Additional rider-focused technologies include a quickshifter, five selectable riding modes, cruise control and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Comfort has also been prioritised, with the 1000MT-X equipped with heated grips and a heated seat as standard. An adjustable windscreen helps improve wind protection during long-distance rides, making the motorcycle suitable for extended touring duties.

CFMOTO 1000MT-X

The adventure tourer carries a generous 22.5-litre fuel tank, providing excellent range between refuelling stops, while overall weight is listed at 222 kg.

For riders planning to venture off the beaten path, CFMOTO has equipped the 1000MT-X with several protective features including an engine bash plate, hand guards, chain guide and removable rear footpegs.

A major highlight of the motorcycle is its modern eight-inch full-colour TFT touchscreen display. The system provides access to riding information, smartphone connectivity and motorcycle settings, while also supporting over-the-air (OTA) software updates and anti-theft functions.

To enhance convenience, both 18W USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports are included, allowing riders to keep their electronic devices powered while travelling.

With its combination of adventure-ready hardware, premium touring features and a comprehensive electronics package, the CFMOTO 1000MT-X enters the Malaysian market as a strong contender in the large-capacity adventure touring segment, offering riders a well-equipped alternative at a highly competitive price point.
