SYM Malaysia has officially expanded its Husky scooter lineup with the launch of the all-new Husky 200 at the Malaysia Bike Show 2026, offering riders a larger-capacity alternative to the existing Husky 150 and Husky 300 models.

Distributed by MForce Bike Holdings, the new Husky 200 is priced at RM10,998 excluding road tax, insurance and registration. The adventure-inspired scooter is available in three colour options: Glossy Green, Pearl White and Silk Purple.

Powering the scooter is a 175cc single-cylinder OHC engine equipped with electronic fuel injection and liquid cooling. The powerplant produces 16 hp at 8,000 rpm and 15.6 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, with power delivered to the rear wheel through a CVT automatic transmission.

The Husky 200 rides on 13-inch wheels front and rear, fitted with 120/70 front and 130/70 rear tyres. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock setup designed to provide a comfortable ride over varying road conditions.

Braking performance comes from disc brakes at both ends, supported by a standard dual-channel ABS system for enhanced rider confidence and safety. Adding to its safety package is a traction control system, a feature that remains relatively uncommon in scooters within this price range.

The adventure scooter styling is further complemented by a tall front profile, rugged bodywork and a fixed windscreen that enhances its touring-inspired appearance. Modern convenience features include a smart key system, USB charging socket, under-seat storage compartment and additional storage space positioned below the handlebars.

The Husky 200 also features a full-colour TFT instrument display, while full LED lighting is fitted throughout the scooter for improved visibility and a more premium appearance. Fuel capacity is rated at 15 litres, offering the potential for extended riding range between fuel stops.

With its combination of adventure-inspired design, modern electronics and practical everyday features, the SYM Husky 200 enters the Malaysian market as an attractive option for riders looking for a stylish and affordable scooter capable of handling both city commutes and weekend journeys.

The launch further strengthens SYM’s growing scooter portfolio in Malaysia while giving buyers another feature-packed option in the increasingly competitive small-capacity adventure scooter segment.
