The unveiling of the all-new 2026 Kawasaki Z1100 SE, alongside the Z650S and Ninja ZX-10R at the Malaysia Bike Show 2026, signals MODENAS’ official re-entry into the high-performance naked bike category.
Priced at RM69,900 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration), this flagship streetfighter serves as the spiritual successor to the iconic Z1000, which was discontinued in 2020, representing Kawasaki’s latest evolution in the large-capacity segment.
The introduction of the Z1100 and its premium sibling, the Z1100 SE, marks Kawasaki’s return to the large-capacity naked bike segment with a machine that combines aggressive styling, modern electronics and enhanced performance.
Retaining Kawasaki’s signature Sugomi design philosophy, the new Z1100 SE features a sharper and more muscular appearance while incorporating a redesigned exhaust system that complies with the latest Euro 5+ emission regulations.

At the heart of the motorcycle is a newly updated 1,099cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine. Kawasaki has revised several key internal components, including the pistons, valve springs and camshafts, resulting in improved performance and rideability.
The bike features a liquid-cooled 1,099cc inline-four engine that produces 136 hp at 9,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 7,600 rpm. Power is delivered through a six-speed gearbox equipped with Kawasaki’s Assist & Slipper Clutch system.
The motorcycle also features Kawasaki’s Ride-by-Wire electronic throttle system, enabling advanced rider assistance technologies including selectable riding modes, cruise control and traction control.

An Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) continuously monitors the motorcycle’s movement, allowing the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Traction Control System (TCS) to adjust intervention levels according to lean angle and riding conditions.
One of the key highlights of the Z1100 SE is its premium chassis package. The motorcycle comes equipped with gold-coloured Showa front forks and an Öhlins S46 rear monoshock, providing improved handling, stability and rider feedback.
Braking performance is enhanced through the use of Brembo monoblock brake calipers paired with stainless steel brake lines, delivering stronger and more consistent stopping power.
Riders are also greeted by a modern 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing smartphone integration and access to additional riding information.

The Z1100 SE weighs 221 kg and is fitted with a 17-litre fuel tank, making it suitable for both spirited weekend rides and long-distance touring duties. The 2026 Kawasaki Z1100 SE is available in Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray / Metallic Matte Carbon Gray.
According to Kawasaki, the Z1100 SE was developed for experienced riders seeking a balance between aggressive performance and everyday practicality. Alongside its streetfighter styling, the motorcycle has undergone significant engineering improvements to deliver a more refined, comfortable and responsive riding experience.
With its larger engine, premium suspension package and advanced electronics, the Z1100 SE is set to become Kawasaki Malaysia’s new flagship naked motorcycle, competing directly in the increasingly competitive litre-class streetfighter segment.
