Monster Energy Yamaha riders are all set to take on the Hangtown Classic this weekend and here is what they have to say.
Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing Team currently has a total of four wins and 21 podiums in the Super 250SX Championships. The team has set sights on maintaining the momentum for the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship this year. The season opener will commence at the Hangtown Motocross Classic, in Rancho Cordova, California, on May 18. Dylan Ferrrandis had a great head start two weeks after his first Monster Energy AMA Supercross 250SX West Championship. The Frenchman is ready to relish his maximum potential this weekend to get the best results. As for teammate Colt Nichols, he will be making a comeback after sustaining injuries. He took on the season and ended with a podium win last year. As for the 250SX East Standings, Justin Cooper is ready to produce better results with his Yamaha YZ-250F. The New Yorker has been consistent with his good results throughout the season. Newcomer Ty Masterpool is an uprising rider of the team and will be making his professional debut this weekend at Loretta Lynns. Furthermore, Mitchell Oldenburg is currently on the sidelines from the season opener due to a burn sustained in a crash in Las Vegas.

“It was straight from the Supercross win to getting ready for outdoors. We also have been struggling to get a good set up on the bike on the short amount of time we have between last supercross race and first outdoor, but I will give everything at Hangtown and see how it goes,” Ferrandis says as quoted from Yamaha Racing.
