The Ducati Lenovo Team is ready to get back on track this weekend as the MotoGP World Championship heads to the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring. The Spielberg circuit holds special significance for Ducati, as it was here 10 years ago that the Desmosedici GP began a journey that would reshape the manufacturer’s history in the premier class.

Following an impressive weekend at Misano, where Marc Márquez claimed victory in front of thousands of passionate Ducati supporters, the Italian manufacturer arrives in Austria with renewed confidence. Ducati has built an outstanding record at the Red Bull Ring over the years, making it one of the team’s strongest venues on the MotoGP calendar.

The fast, flowing layout of the Austrian circuit has consistently suited the Desmosedici GP’s strengths, helping Ducati establish itself as the benchmark manufacturer in recent seasons. As the championship battle intensifies, both factory riders will be aiming to maximise the bike’s potential and secure another strong result.

Márquez enters the weekend riding high after his dominant performance at Misano. The Spaniard believes the recent victory has provided a valuable confidence boost and hopes to carry that momentum into another circuit where Ducati has traditionally excelled.

“We come off a perfect weekend: the victory at Misano gave me a huge boost, also thanks to the support of so many Ducatisti fans. Here in Austria, I was competitive last year, and together with the whole Team, we need to make the most of this positive momentum as we continue to fight with the best,” said Márquez.

Meanwhile, teammate Francesco Bagnaia is determined to bounce back after a disappointing end to his home race. Despite showing competitive pace at Misano, the Italian crashed out in front of his home fans and is eager to return to the front at a venue where he has previously enjoyed success.

Bagnaia remains optimistic, pointing to Ducati’s outstanding record in Austria as a reason for confidence heading into the weekend.

“In Misano, it wasn’t easy to end the weekend with a crash in front of all the fans, but we have to keep working together with the Team. Austria is a track where historically Ducati has always managed to make a difference and where I’ve achieved great results in the past. We won’t give up and we’ll keep pushing to be back at the front,” Bagnaia said.

With momentum on its side and a decade of success linked to the Austrian circuit, Ducati Lenovo Team will be aiming to add another memorable chapter to its history at the Red Bull Ring. As both Márquez and Bagnaia look to challenge for victory, Ducati will be hoping its proven package can once again deliver at one of its most successful MotoGP venues.
