Hakim Danish Ramli is determined to continue his excellent run in the Moto3 World Championship when he takes part in Round 11 of the German Grand Prix (GP) at the Sachsenring Circuit this weekend.
The 18-year-old rider, who represents the AEON Credit-MT Helmets-MSi team, comes in with high confidence after recording a historic victory at the Czech Republic Grand Prix, followed by a nine-point haul at the Dutch Grand Prix. The results catapulted him to sixth place overall in the Moto3 World Championship standings.
Sachsenring Presents Different Challenges
However, Sachsenring is expected to be a challenging test for the country’s young riders. The circuit, known for its dominant left-hand corners, narrow lanes and demanding high levels of precision, is often considered one of the most unique tracks on the MotoGP calendar.
Last season, Hakim Danish competed at Sachsenring in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and finished Race 1 in 10th place before finishing Race 2 in 18th place. Although that record was not very encouraging, the improved performance he displayed throughout the 2026 season gives confidence that he is capable of providing a tougher challenge this time around.
Hakim Danish is currently in second place in the Rookie of the Year standings with 82 points, just 20 points behind the leader, Brian Uriarte, putting him in the best position to continue chasing the top group before the competition enters the summer break.

Hakim Danish Wants to Maintain a Positive Momentum
Consistent performance over the past few rounds has also seen Hakim Danish successfully advance to Qualifying 2 (Q2) sessions consecutively. This achievement is the basis for his target to maintain positive momentum at the German GP.
“This weekend I will be racing at the German Grand Prix and I am very excited because it is the last race before the competition takes a break for the summer holidays,” said Hakim Danish.
“I have been training hard, reviewing previous races and rewatching last season’s Moto3 races.
“As usual, my target is to get into the rhythm as early as possible. For me, this circuit is not easy because it has a lot of left turns and the circuit character is more like a karting circuit and is not that big. So, I will try to adapt as soon as possible and give the best results.”
Zulfahmi Confident Hakim Danish Can Compete in the Front Group
Meanwhile, SIC Racing Team Manager, Zulfahmi Khairuddin, is optimistic that Hakim Danish will be able to compete better at Sachsenring, although he admits that the circuit is not an easy one for the country’s racer.
According to him, the team is not only present to provide support, but will also discuss plans for next season with Hakim Danish.
“For the German Grand Prix this week, I will be there with Hakim Danish. Apart from supporting him, we will also discuss plans and direction for next season,” he said.
He also hopes that Hakim Danish can adapt quickly at Sachsenring and once again advance to Qualifying 2 (Q2), thus maintaining the excellent momentum he has displayed over the past few races.
“I believe that the momentum is there for Danish and what is important now is to maintain it so that he remains competitive. If there is an opportunity to get on the podium or win a race, of course we will try to take advantage of it. However, the priority is to ensure that he remains in the front group.”

Opportunity to Strengthen Position Before Summer Break
The German Grand Prix is the last race before the Moto3 calendar enters the summer break. A positive result at Sachsenring will not only strengthen Hakim Danish’s position in the overall championship standings, but could also reduce the gap in the fight for the Rookie of the Year title.
With increasingly consistent performance throughout this season, the country’s young rider is seen to have a bright opportunity to once again challenge the front group and continue the positive momentum into the second half of the 2026 season.
