CFMOTO has announced a new long-term strategic partnership with Brembo, one of the world’s leading braking system manufacturers, in a move that aims to enhance the performance, safety, and technological development of its future motorcycles. The agreement brings together CFMOTO’s growing presence in the global powersports industry and Brembo’s decades of expertise in high-performance braking solutions.

More than a traditional supplier relationship, the partnership will see both companies jointly develop advanced braking systems for CFMOTO’s future mid-to-large displacement motorcycles. The collaboration will also extend to technology innovation, motorsport, brand development, and talent cultivation, with the shared goal of delivering motorcycles that offer greater performance, control, and rider confidence.

A Global Partnership Built on Innovation

The agreement was finalized this week in Hangzhou, marking another milestone in CFMOTO’s international growth strategy. Both companies share a commitment to cutting-edge engineering, premium design, strict quality standards, and continuous innovation.

The partnership also builds on their strong motorsport credentials. CFMOTO has enjoyed success in Moto3 and Moto2 over the past three MotoGP seasons, securing race wins and championship titles, while Brembo continues to supply advanced braking technology to teams throughout the MotoGP paddock.

By combining their expertise, the two companies aim to accelerate the development of next-generation motorcycles that benefit from proven racing technologies.

Braking Systems to Be Integrated Earlier in Development

A key aspect of the collaboration is the early integration of Brembo’s braking technology into CFMOTO’s vehicle development process.

Instead of introducing braking components later in production, both companies will work together from the initial design stage. This approach allows engineers to optimise system integration, calibration, and validation based on each motorcycle platform and intended riding conditions.

The result is expected to be braking systems that offer a better balance of safety, control, and overall riding performance. The partnership will also enable race-inspired braking technologies to be introduced into future CFMOTO high-displacement models.

Supporting Racing Success and Future Talent

Beyond product development, CFMOTO and Brembo will strengthen their cooperation in motorsport.

Technical feedback gathered from racing activities will help improve future production motorcycles, while both companies will work together on motorsport programmes and brand experiences.

As part of the agreement, Brembo will also become a strategic partner of the CFMOTO Talent Project, supporting the development of the next generation of Chinese motorcycle racers. The initiative reflects both companies’ commitment to nurturing future talent while expanding their presence in international motorcycle racing.

With more than five decades of involvement in two-wheel and four-wheel motorsport, Brembo continues to be recognised as one of the industry’s leading names in braking technology.

Executives Highlight Shared Vision

CFMOTO Vice President Chen Zhiyong described the partnership as an important step in strengthening the company’s global competitiveness.

He said Brembo’s reputation as a leader in braking technology, combined with its extensive experience in premier championships such as MotoGP, makes it an ideal partner as CFMOTO continues to improve the riding experience for customers worldwide.

Meanwhile, Andrea Paganessi, Motorcycle GBU Chief Officer of Brembo N.V., said the collaboration further strengthens Brembo’s presence in the global motorcycle market.

He noted that Brembo aims to become a trusted long-term technology partner for CFMOTO by providing high-performance braking solutions that contribute to the evolution of premium motorcycles.

Strengthening CFMOTO’s Global Growth Strategy

The agreement represents another significant step in CFMOTO’s long-term strategy of working with leading global technology companies to develop its next generation of motorcycles.

By partnering with Brembo, CFMOTO is not only expanding its international presence but also reinforcing its commitment to delivering premium motorcycles with higher levels of safety, innovation, and performance for riders around the world.
