The 2026 FIM Superbike World Championship resumes this weekend at the Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic, with Aruba.it Racing – Ducati entering Round 5 of the season carrying strong momentum and confidence.
Following a dominant performance in Hungary two weeks ago, Ducati heads to Most with championship leader Nicolò Bulega aiming to continue his record-breaking form, while team-mate Iker Lecuona looks to secure his first-ever WorldSBK race victory.
The race weekend officially begins tomorrow morning with the opening free practice sessions at the Czech circuit.

Bulega looking to continue historic winning streak
Bulega arrives at Most after making WorldSBK history at Balaton by recording 16 consecutive victories, setting a new benchmark in the championship. The Italian rider currently leads the standings by 82 points over his closest challenger and continues to establish himself as the rider to beat in the 2026 campaign.
The Aruba.it Racing – Ducati rider believes the team’s consistent development throughout race weekends has been a major factor behind their recent success.
“We’re in excellent form, not just in terms of results but also performance,” said Bulega. “We’re coming off an extraordinary weekend at Balaton, but what gives me the most confidence is the quality of the work we’re doing with the team.”
“We’ve been able to head in the right direction from Friday onwards and continue improving throughout the weekend.”
With high confidence and momentum firmly on his side, Bulega will be aiming to further extend his championship advantage at a circuit that promises another intense weekend of racing.

Lecuona targeting breakthrough WorldSBK victory
On the other side of the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati garage, Lecuona heads into the Most round with growing confidence after securing nine consecutive second-place finishes.
The Spaniard has consistently challenged near the front throughout the season and now believes a maiden WorldSBK victory is within reach.
“I’m approaching this round with great confidence,” said Lecuona. “We’re doing a great job with the team, and every time I ride the Ducati Panigale V4 R, my feeling with the bike keeps improving.”
Lecuona also highlighted Bulega’s pace as the current benchmark in the championship but believes the gap is slowly closing.
“Nicolò remains the reference point, but we’re reducing the gap race by race. Most is a circuit I really enjoy, so I think we can take another step forward.”
Ducati aiming to maintain dominance in Czech Republic
With Aruba.it Racing – Ducati enjoying one of its strongest starts to a WorldSBK season in recent years, the Most round presents another opportunity for the Italian manufacturer to strengthen its grip on the championship standings.
As the battle continues in the Czech Republic, all eyes will once again be on Bulega’s pursuit of history and Lecuona’s determination to claim his first Superbike triumph.
