Ducati has officially started production of the XDiavel V4 at its Borgo Panigale plant, marking a bold new chapter for the Italian manufacturer. Combining the raw power of a V4 engine with the relaxed riding position of a cruiser, the XDiavel V4 redefines the Sport Cruiser segment with its muscular design, advanced technology, and exhilarating performance.

The XDiavel V4 is designed for riders who crave the unmistakable style of a cruiser but demand the high-performance thrills of a sportbike. Powered by the 168-horsepower V4 Granturismo engine, derived from Ducati’s MotoGP technology, the bike delivers 125 Nm of torque and features a counter-rotating crankshaft for enhanced stability and agility. With a kerb weight of 229 kg, the XDiavel V4 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds, offering dragster-like performance with ease and safety.

The XDiavel V4 boasts a monocoque frame, fully adjustable suspension, and a high-performance braking system with Brembo Stylema callipers on 330mm discs. These components ensure exceptional handling and control, making the bike as agile as it is powerful.

Comfort has also been significantly improved, with a 25mm increase in rear suspension travel compared to the XDiavel 1260. The rider and passenger benefit from a wider, thicker saddle, while the passenger seat offers 30% more width, 50% more length, and 25mm more thickness. A rear grab handle is included as standard, enhancing passenger comfort and safety.

Cutting-Edge Electronics

  • The XDiavel V4 is equipped with a comprehensive suite of electronic aids, including:
  • Ducati Traction Control (DTC) Cornering
  • Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC)
  • Cornering ABS
  • Launch Control

Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0

These systems are managed via backlit handlebar controls and a 6.9-inch TFT colour dashboard with an 8:3 aspect ratio. The dashboard supports Bluetooth connectivity for calls, messages, and music, as well as turn-by-turn navigation through the Ducati Link App.

Striking Design and Customization

The XDiavel V4 will be available in two stunning metallic liveries: Burning Red and Black Lava. The Burning Red option introduces a new shade of red to the Ducati lineup, distinct from the iconic Ducati Red and Racing Red. Meanwhile, Black Lava enhances the classic cruiser aesthetic with warm, reflective tones that highlight the bike’s sophisticated personality. The XDiavel V4 will be available in European dealerships starting May 2025, with other markets to follow.

For riders looking to personalize their XDiavel V4, Ducati offers an extensive Ducati Performance catalogue. Options include:

  • Central repositioning kit for rider footpegs
  • Raised or lowered seats
  • 48-litre semi-rigid cases with body-coloured covers, passenger backrests, and integrated side handles
  • Homologated exhaust silencer with titanium end caps
  • Single-seater tailpiece
  • Carbon fibre components, forged rims, and custom brake callipers in red or black
