Aveta Malaysia has introduced the Aveta Nova 250 G Elite Edition for the local market, a limited-edition version of its 250cc-class scooter launched in conjunction with the opening of G Elite Motor, the new Aveta Elite Centre in Shah Alam, Selangor.

Priced at RM14,888, excluding insurance, the special edition is RM500 more expensive than the standard Nova 250, which entered the Malaysian market in October last year.

Production will be limited to only 128 units, making the G Elite Edition a special offering for riders looking for something different from the standard model.

The main differences are found in its appearance. The scooter features an exclusive grey body with orange decals and matching orange rims, giving it a more distinctive look. Each unit also comes with a production number badge on its side panels, while the instrument display features special graphics identifying it as the G Elite Edition.

Mechanically, the Nova 250 G Elite Edition retains the same powertrain as the standard model. It is powered by a 244.3cc, single-cylinder, SOHC, liquid-cooled engine paired with a CVT automatic transmission. The engine produces 25.5 hp at 8,250 rpm and 23 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.

The powertrain uses a Bosch fuel injection system and has a compression ratio of 11.5:1. For its running gear, the scooter uses a 14-inch front wheel fitted with a 120/70 tyre and a 13-inch rear wheel with a 130/70 tyre. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and twin gas shock absorbers at the rear.

Braking comes from a single front disc with a four-piston caliper and a rear disc with a two-piston caliper. A dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) and traction control system are also included to help improve rider safety.

Beyond its exclusive colour scheme, the Nova 250 G Elite Edition retains the standard model’s range of equipment. Features include full LED lighting, a smart lock system, a tyre pressure monitoring system and a USB-C charging port.

The scooter also comes with a front video recorder and a seven-inch TFT-LCD instrument display with screen mirroring functionality. Fuel is stored in a 12-litre tank.

The special edition’s introduction coincides with the opening of the new Aveta Elite Centre in Shah Alam, Selangor. The facility brings together a dedicated showroom, service centre and spare parts facility under one roof, allowing customers to explore Aveta’s motorcycle range while accessing aftersales support at the same location.
