Harley-Davidson Malaysia recently hosted the country’s largest Skilled Rider Training (SRT) programme, bringing together 40 Harley-Davidson riders from Malaysia and Singapore for a full day of advanced riding instruction. The event concluded with the H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) BBQ Night, where the company also teased its upcoming 2026 and early 2027 riding calendar.
Held with support from Lotus’s Malaysia as the official venue sponsor, the training welcomed participants from Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Johor, and Singapore, highlighting the growing Harley-Davidson community in the region.

Harley Riders Sharpen Their Skills
The full-day Skilled Rider Training focused on improving rider confidence through a series of practical exercises covering low-speed handling, precision manoeuvres, and advanced motorcycle control. Rider safety remained a key priority throughout the programme, with participants learning techniques designed to better handle real-world riding situations.
The event also reflected Harley-Davidson’s diverse riding community, with participants ranging from riders in their early 20s to enthusiasts in their 80s, showcasing the brand’s appeal across multiple generations. Harley-Davidson Malaysia also thanked Lotus’s Malaysia for providing the venue that made the large-scale training session possible.

H.O.G. BBQ Night Brings the Community Together
After the riding programme, participants joined around 150 members of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) for a community BBQ Night held at Makhan by Kitchen Mafia.
This year’s gathering adopted a “Wild Wild West” theme, with attendees embracing cowboy-inspired outfits and receiving exclusive limited-edition cowboy patches produced specially for the event. The evening celebrated not only the Harley-Davidson lifestyle but also the achievements of riders who had completed the day’s training programme.

Top Riders Receive Special Recognition
During the ceremony, all 40 participants of the Skilled Rider Training received official certificates of completion along with their SRT pins. Eight riders who demonstrated exceptional riding precision, technical ability, and motorcycle control throughout the programme were further recognised with special silver pins, honouring their outstanding performance during the training.
The awards highlighted Harley-Davidson Malaysia’s commitment to encouraging continuous rider development and promoting safe riding practices within its community.

New Benefits for H.O.G. Members
Harley-Davidson Malaysia also announced a new long-term partnership between H.O.G. Malaysia and Makhan by Kitchen Mafia. Through the collaboration, eligible H.O.G. members will enjoy exclusive dining privileges and special discounts at the restaurant, adding another benefit to Harley-Davidson ownership and strengthening the community experience beyond riding events. The partnership is expected to provide members with another venue to gather and connect throughout the year.

Harley-Davidson Teases Busy 2026 Event Calendar
Looking ahead, Harley-Davidson Malaysia offered attendees a preview of its upcoming event lineup, which includes Asia Harley Days 2026 alongside a packed schedule of national and regional rides planned through early 2027.
While additional details will be announced closer to each event, the preview signals another active year for Harley-Davidson riders across Malaysia and the wider region.
With its combination of rider education, community engagement, and upcoming touring experiences, Harley-Davidson Malaysia continues to strengthen its presence while encouraging riders to improve their skills and enjoy the open road together.
