The provisional calendar for the 2025 FIM Superbike World Championship has been officially released, with the highly anticipated season set to commence in February. While largely retaining the structure of the 2024 schedule, the upcoming campaign introduces a significant new addition which is Hungary’s Balaton Park Circuit, marking a historic expansion for the series.
As tradition dictates, the season opener will take place at the iconic Phillip Island Circuit in Australia from February 21-23, preceded by two crucial days of pre-season testing on February 17-18. Following this, the championship moves to Europe, with the Algarve International Circuit hosting the second round from March 28-30, the first of two Portuguese stops on the calendar.
The renowned TT Circuit Assen will once again welcome the WorldSBK paddock for the Dutch Round from April 11-13, maintaining its status as a staple of the championship. Italy’s Cremona Circuit, which debuted in 2024, is confirmed for a return on May 2-4, further cementing its place in the series.
The Czech Round at Most is set for May 16-18, leading into a month-long mid-season pause before racing resumes at Misano from June 13-15. The British Round at Donington Park follows on July 11-13, continuing its long-standing presence as a summer highlight on the calendar.

The most notable addition to the 2025 season is the introduction of Hungary’s Balaton Park Circuit, set to host its inaugural WorldSBK round from July 25-27. The venue was originally scheduled for inclusion in 2024 but was postponed due to infrastructural delays. Now, with extensive improvements underway—including revisions to meet homologation standards—the circuit is poised to make its long-awaited debut.
After the summer break, the championship resumes in France at Magny-Cours from September 5-7, followed by a Spanish stop at MotorLand Aragón from September 26-28. The second Portuguese event, held at Estoril, takes place from October 10-12, forming a rare back-to-back sequence with the season finale in Jerez on October 17-19—pending a finalized contract.
A notable absence from the 2025 calendar is Barcelona-Catalunya, which does not feature in the provisional schedule. However, all rounds will include both the WorldSBK and World Supersport categories, while World Supersport 300 will be present at eight selected events, including Algarve, Assen, Most, Misano, Magny-Cours, Aragón, Estoril, and Jerez.
Additionally, the World Women’s Circuit Racing Championship will maintain a six-round format, beginning at Assen before heading to Cremona, Donington, Balaton Park, Magny-Cours, and concluding at Jerez.
