Bulega Triumphs After Thrilling Superpole Race Battle
Sunday’s action began with an exciting Superpole Race, where teammates Nicolò Bulega and Iker Lecuona went head-to-head in a thrilling battle for victory.
After several intense laps of racing, Bulega emerged victorious, adding another win to his growing tally and continuing his impressive form throughout the weekend.
The Italian rider had already demonstrated his pace by setting a new track record during Superpole, making Aragon one of his most successful rounds of the season so far.

Race 2 Sees Ducati Complete Another One-Two Finish
In Race 2, Bulega made a strong start and immediately took control at the front of the field. Maintaining a consistent pace despite the challenging track temperatures, he successfully defended his lead throughout the race.
Lecuona remained within striking distance and began reducing the gap from lap 13 onwards. The Spanish rider pushed hard in the closing stages, but the deficit proved too large to overcome, forcing him to settle for second place.
Despite narrowly missing out on his maiden WorldSBK victory, Lecuona’s performance highlighted the continued progress he and the team have made throughout the season.

Bulega: “It’s Been a Fantastic Weekend”
Reflecting on a near-perfect weekend, Bulega praised the team’s efforts and the performance of the Ducati package.
“I’m very happy. It’s been a fantastic weekend during which we set the track record in Superpole and also in the race,” said Bulega.
“It wasn’t easy because with such high temperatures, it was easy to make a mistake. That’s why I’d like to thank the team for putting me in a position where I could give my all.”

Lecuona: “We Need to Keep Working”
While victory remained just out of reach, Lecuona was encouraged by the team’s progress and the competitiveness shown throughout the weekend.
“I can’t help but be happy with this weekend,” said Lecuona.
“Obviously, winning a race is our primary goal, but the progress we’re making session by session is part of this journey. We had some great battles today and I enjoyed myself.”
“We need to keep going like this, working to find what we’re missing.”
Ducati Continues Its Momentum in WorldSBK
With another dominant display at Aragon, Aruba.it Racing – Ducati further strengthens its position as one of the benchmark teams in the 2026 WorldSBK championship. Bulega’s race-winning pace combined with Lecuona’s growing confidence gives the team plenty of reasons for optimism as the season heads into its next rounds.
