BMW Motorrad has officially revealed the limited edition BMW M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle of Man TT ahead of the 2026 Isle of Man TT, celebrating the 115th running of one of the world’s most legendary road races.
Limited to just 115 units worldwide, the special edition model is based on the BMW M 1000 RR M Competition package and combines exclusive Isle of Man TT-inspired styling with premium collector-focused features.
The standout feature is the bike’s striking British Racing Green Uni Matt paint scheme paired with custom TT graphics inspired by sections of the famous Mountain Course.

BMW also included several bespoke design touches including:
- Carbon airbox cover with TT logo
- Sequential numbering
- Certificate of authenticity
- Alcantara seat finish
- Aluminium fuel tank with special graphics
Interestingly, the fairing graphics also reflect the TT circuit itself, with left-hand corners displayed on the left side of the bike and right-hand corners shown on the opposite side.
Mechanically, the limited edition remains identical to the standard M 1000 RR equipped with the M Competition package.
Power comes from a 999cc inline-four engine producing a claimed 205 hp at 13,000 rpm alongside 83 lb-ft (112 Nm) of torque at 11,100 rpm.

The superbike also comes fitted with:
- Titanium Akrapovič exhaust system
- Lightweight carbon fibre wheels
- M Endurance chain
- Carbon fibre components
- Billet aluminium parts
Suspension duties are handled by fully adjustable 45mm upside-down forks paired with a rear monoshock setup, while braking performance comes courtesy of radial-mounted four-piston M-branded calipers finished in blue anodising.
BMW claims the motorcycle weighs just 428 pounds (around 194 kg curb weight), further highlighting its race-focused DNA.

Markus Flasch, CEO of BMW Motorrad, described the model as a direct reflection of the company’s racing heritage.
“Racing is part of BMW Motorrad’s DNA. The BMW M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle of Man TT is therefore the logical evolution of a special model based on the BMW M 1000 RR,” said Flasch.
“This model bridges our successful TT heritage and our M models, and is a strong expression of racing DNA, technical precision and exclusivity.”

BMW’s history at the Isle of Man TT stretches back decades, beginning with Georg Meier winning the Senior TT aboard the BMW RS 255 Kompressor in 1939.
The German manufacturer continued building its TT legacy through riders like Michael Dunlop, Peter Hickman and Davey Todd in the modern superbike era.
One of BMW’s biggest achievements came in 2023 when Hickman set the all-time TT lap record aboard a BMW M 1000 RR Superstock machine with a lap time of 16:36.115 and an average speed of 136.358 mph (219.4 km/h).
