Honda has officially announced a new collaboration with renowned Japanese fashion brand Onitsuka Tiger, marking a partnership that bridges the worlds of motorcycles and fashion.
The collaboration made its global debut at the Onitsuka Tiger 2027 Spring/Summer Women’s Collection during Milan Fashion Week on September 23, where both brands unveiled the Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept for the first time.
The concept motorcycle represents the first project under the partnership and highlights the shared values of two Japanese brands that have spent more than seven decades pushing the boundaries of design, technology, and craftsmanship.

Two Iconic Japanese Brands Unite
Although Honda and Onitsuka Tiger operate in different industries, the two companies share remarkably similar histories. Honda was founded in 1948 with a mission to improve people’s lives through innovative mobility technologies. Just a year later, Onitsuka Tiger was established in Kobe, Japan, initially producing performance sports footwear before evolving into one of the world’s most recognizable fashion brands.
Over the past 75 years, both companies have expanded globally while remaining committed to Japanese craftsmanship, technological innovation, and creating products that inspire people worldwide.
Recognizing these shared values, Honda and Onitsuka Tiger decided to collaborate on a project that celebrates creativity beyond traditional industry boundaries.

Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept Makes World Premiere
The centrepiece of the collaboration is the Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept, a concept motorcycle developed from a mid-displacement Honda sports bike.
Its design immediately stands out thanks to the use of Tiger Yellow, the signature colour closely associated with Onitsuka Tiger. The bright yellow bodywork is complemented by bold black stripes running along both sides of the motorcycle, creating a distinctive appearance that reflects the fashion brand’s identity.
The attention to detail continues with predominantly black wheels featuring yellow highlights, while both Honda and Onitsuka Tiger logos are incorporated throughout the design. Every element, from the colour palette to the smallest finishing touches, was carefully crafted to showcase the premium image of both brands.
Rather than being a simple colour makeover, the concept demonstrates how motorcycle engineering and fashion design can complement one another to create something unique.

Fashion Inspired by Motorcycle Culture
The collaboration extends beyond the motorcycle itself. During Milan Fashion Week, Onitsuka Tiger also introduced a new collection of footwear and apparel inspired by motorcycle culture. The collection prominently features Honda’s iconic Wing Mark, a symbol long associated with the company’s motorcycles.
Displaying the fashion collection alongside the Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept allowed visitors to see the connection between the two brands, with both placing strong emphasis on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality.
The presentation highlighted how design language from the motorcycle industry can be translated into modern fashion while maintaining the identity of both brands.
Bringing Motorcycle Culture to More People
Honda says the collaboration is intended to make motorcycle culture more approachable and accessible to a wider audience around the world.
By combining Honda’s engineering expertise with Onitsuka Tiger’s fashion creativity, the partnership aims to introduce motorcycles to people who may not traditionally engage with the riding community. It also reflects Honda’s ongoing efforts to explore new ways of connecting with customers through collaborations that go beyond conventional automotive partnerships.
The Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept serves as the first step in what could become a broader creative partnership between the two iconic Japanese brands, showcasing how mobility and fashion can come together to create fresh experiences for audiences worldwide.
