Nicolò Bulega continued his superb 2026 campaign by claiming victory in the Lenovo Race of Champions, one of the headline attractions of World Ducati Week 2026, held at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” on Sunday.
The annual event brought together Ducati riders from MotoGP, WorldSBK, WorldSSP, and various national championships, all competing on identical Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore motorcycles to celebrate the Italian manufacturer’s 100th anniversary.
Bulega wasted no time asserting his pace, taking control of the 10-lap race from the opening stages before comfortably managing his advantage to secure victory in front of thousands of Ducati fans gathered at Misano.
The Italian was followed home by Alberto Surra, who secured second place after an intense battle for the podium, while Lorenzo Baldassarri completed the top three.

Speaking after the race, Bulega praised both the Panigale V4 and the atmosphere created by Ducati supporters throughout the weekend.
“It has been a fantastic weekend, ending with this victory on my Panigale V4, which is an incredible bike. Thank you to everyone. It was wonderful to see so many people in the grandstands over these days, and especially today—it felt like a real race,” said Bulega.
“Congratulations to Ducati on its centenary and, above all, on this World Ducati Week. It is not easy to organise an event of this scale, with so many people and so many activities, and it has been truly spectacular.”

One of the standout performances came from Malaysian rider Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah, who crossed the finish line in 10th place against a field featuring some of the biggest names in Ducati’s global racing programme.
MotoGP star Francesco Bagnaia finished fifth, ahead of Tommy Bridewell, Franco Morbidelli, Fabio Di Giannantonio, and Lukas Tulovic. Reigning MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez ended the exhibition race in 12th position. The race also saw Michele Pirro and Alvaro Bautista retire before the finish.
The Lenovo Race of Champions has become one of the most anticipated highlights of every World Ducati Week, offering fans the rare opportunity to watch Ducati’s factory and satellite riders compete on equal machinery. With every rider aboard the same Panigale V4 Tricolore, the event places the spotlight firmly on rider ability rather than machinery.
