Harley-Davidson Malaysia has officially unveiled the 2026 Liberty Edition Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection, introducing an exclusive lineup of limited-production motorcycles during the Reception to Celebrate 250 Years of Independence of the United States of America at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur.

The launch highlighted Harley-Davidson’s rich American heritage while celebrating the enduring spirit of freedom and the open road. The event was attended by the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the United States of America to Malaysia, Mr. David H. Gamble Jr., underscoring the cultural significance of the Liberty Edition collection.

Harley Owners Group marks the occasion with commemorative ride

Adding to the celebrations, 25 members of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) Malaysia took part in a special convoy ride to the venue. The procession served as a tribute to U.S. Independence Day, with the unmistakable rumble of Harley-Davidson motorcycles setting the stage for the official unveiling.

The arrival of the convoy symbolised the brand’s long-standing connection to freedom, adventure, and the motorcycle lifestyle, bringing the spirit of Harley-Davidson directly to the launch event.

A modern tribute to Harley-Davidson’s iconic 1976 Liberty Edition

The 2026 Liberty Edition Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection draws inspiration from Harley-Davidson’s legendary 1976 Bicentennial Liberty Edition motorcycles, originally created by Willie G. Davidson together with renowned artist Paul Smith.

Designed as a modern interpretation of the historic models, the new collection blends classic styling with contemporary engineering. Each motorcycle features exclusive factory-finished detailing that pays tribute to Harley-Davidson’s heritage while incorporating today’s premium craftsmanship and technology.

Exclusive Liberty Edition design highlights

The 2026 Liberty Edition motorcycles feature several distinctive styling elements that set them apart from the standard lineup.

Among the key highlights are:

• Midnight Ember Paint, a premium metallic finish that gives each motorcycle a bold and sophisticated appearance.
• Liberty Eagle graphics, featuring stylised eagle artwork and the iconic “Number One” emblem inspired by the original 1976 designs.

3. Street Glide 3 Limited Liberty Edition

For riders seeking maximum touring comfort, the Street Glide 3 Limited Liberty Edition introduces a premium three-wheel platform powered by the Milwaukee-Eight VVT engine. The motorcycle also includes a redesigned chassis, Grand Tour-Pak with integrated speakers, and heated rider and passenger seats for long-distance journeys.

Limited production for collectors and enthusiasts

As part of Harley-Davidson’s Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection, every 2026 Liberty Edition motorcycle will be produced in a strictly limited production run and individually serialised.

Once the factory allocation for the exclusive Liberty Edition paint scheme, graphics, and commemorative badging has been completed, Harley-Davidson will not reproduce the collection, making each motorcycle a unique addition for both collectors and enthusiasts.
