JDT Racing Team has confirmed that their rider, Andi Farid Izdihar, will not compete in Round Four of the Asian Motorcycle Championship (ARRC) which will take place at the Mandalika International Circuit, Indonesia, after suffering injuries from a recent accident.

The 28-year-old racer had an accident while participating in the Mandalika Racing Series. Medical examinations confirmed that he had suffered several broken bones and is currently undergoing treatment under the supervision of the medical team.

In an official statement, JDT Racing Team explained that Andi Farid’s health and recovery process are the team’s main priorities at this time.

The team also reiterated their commitment to providing full support to the Indonesian rider throughout his recovery period, as well as ensuring he gets the time and treatment he needs before returning to racing.

In addition, JDT Racing Team also expressed support for Andi Farid and his family and hoped that he would be able to fully recover before returning to the circuit.

According to the team, all members of the JDT Racing Team pray that Andi Farid will return to health and be able to make a stronger comeback after the recovery process is complete.

Andi Farid’s absence will certainly be a blow to the JDT Racing Team considering he is one of the main contenders in the Asian Superbike 1000 (ASB1000) class this season.

Since joining the team, Andi Farid has displayed consistent performance and is currently ranked third overall in the ASB1000 with 74 points.

The fourth round of the ARRC in Mandalika will take place without the rider, while fans and the team are now awaiting positive developments regarding his recovery process and return to competitive competition.
