Morbidelli have introduced two of their newest dual-purpose motorcycles and are now available in the Malaysian market, the Morbidelli T250 and the Morbidelli T250X.

Officially distributed by Morbidelli Malaysia, the T250 is priced at RM7,988, while the T250X is priced at RM9,888, not including road tax, insurance, and registration.

Both motorcycles come in three different colour schemes. The T250 comes in Bulk Black, Anarchy Grey, and Carnage Red, wwhile the T250X comes in Bulk Black, Anarchy Grey, and Raptor Yellow.

Marketed as dual-purpose motorcycles, both combines performance, durability, and practicality that is suitable for both daily commuting as well as light adventure riding.

Both motorcycles use the same engine, a 249.4 cc single-cylinder engine that comes with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI), a T.C.I ignition system, a mechanical throttle, and an eletrical starter system for efficiency and consistent performance.. This engine produces 24 hp at 8,000 rpm and 23 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.

Both of them also share the same wheel and tire sizes. They come equipped with 19-inch wheels and 17-inch wheels in the back. The tyre size for both are 90/90 tires in the front as well as 110/90 tyres in the rear.

In terms of suspension and brake setup, both motorcycles use the same setup. For suspension, they use upside down telescopic forks up front and a preload-adjustable monoshock in the rear. For braking performance, both use single disc brakes for both front and rear, and complemented by a dual-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) to enhance rider safety.

Equipment wise, both motorcycles are packed with the latest equipment. Both comes with a digital display, mechanical key entry system for everyday convenience, and full LED lighting throughout the whole motorcycle which provides clear visibility under various riding conditions, and handguards for extra rider protection. Both models also come equipped with a 12-litre fuel tank and Pressure Splash Lubrication system which provides greater practicality for longer journeys.

Even though there are same things that are shared by both models, there are a few equipment that are not the same between the two. The T250 comes with one USB-A charging port while the T250X comes with two charging ports. The T250X also has a few more equipment in store. It comes with a side stand safety switch which helps to improve everyday convenience and safety, as well as a windshield, providing greater rider comfort during long-distance riding.

With responsive engine performance, rugged styling, modern safety features and practical equipment, both of these models are able to be strong contenders in the dual-purpose motorcycle segment in Malaysia. Both of these motorcycles could be an interesting choice for riders who are looking for a modern and versatile motorcycle that is packed with features but at a reasonable price.
