Royal Enfield, the global leader in the mid-size motorcycling segment, has unveiled Project Delta, a stunning custom build of the Super Meteor 650 by Purpose Built Moto. This one-of-a-kind motorcycle is a vintage dream brought to life, reimagining the Super Meteor 650 with inspiration drawn from the golden era of motorcycling.

Project Delta is more than just a custom build—it’s a journey through time, celebrating Royal Enfield’s rich heritage and showcasing masterful craftsmanship. Purpose Built Moto, known for its transformative artistry, has created a motorcycle that not only looks like it belongs in the 1940s-50s but also rides with the raw, immersive feel of that era.

The build draws heavy inspiration from the 1940s-50s, particularly the Super Meteor 700 and the legendary Flying Flea from World War II. The frame has been extensively reworked to echo vintage hardtail styling while incorporating modern engineering refinements. The oil cooler is now housed in-frame, and a monoshock conversion maintains a sleek, classic aesthetic.

At the front, a hand-fabricated Girder Fork, a blend of artistry and engineering, takes centre stage, supported by custom spoked wheels (23” front, 19” rear). The slim peanut tank, inspired by the 1952 Super Meteor 700, complements the reworked chassis, while era-correct details like the rear fender and tail light complete the vintage look.

Project Delta is designed to deliver an authentic, unfiltered riding experience. The hand-shifted gears demand rider engagement, while the solid-mounted bars and girder fork ensure every inch of the road is felt. The motorcycle is drenched in a striking Art Nouveau-inspired paint scheme of Black, Gold, and Cherry Red, accentuating the handcrafted lines of this unique machine.
