R1DE Italian Helmets Debut 12 Jet Designs in Malaysia

MKA Group is set to distribute R1DE Helmets in Malaysia, with its first jet helmet collection expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2027 and prices starting from the RM300 range.

MKA Group has announced a strategic partnership with Italian-designed motorcycle helmet brand R1DE Helmets, officially showcasing its first jet helmet collection at the PETRONAS Grand Prix of Malaysia 2026 at the Sepang International Circuit. 

Under the partnership, MKA Group will become the official distributor of R1DE Helmets in Malaysia, supporting the brand’s entry into the local market and its wider regional expansion. 

The new helmet collection is expected to be priced from the RM300 range. However, official retail prices have yet to be confirmed, with full pricing details expected to be announced when the first shipment arrives in Malaysia. The initial market availability is targeted for the first quarter of 2027.

R1DE’s jet helmets feature an advanced thermoplastic outer shell and an integrated inner sun visor. The brand also plans to introduce more than 10 visor options, allowing riders to customize the appearance of their helmets according to their preferences.

Operating through Italy-incorporated Ride Protected SRL, R1DE Helmets has planned its research, development and testing operations in the Padova area of Italy. The brand follows the philosophy of “Engineered to Protect”, combining Italian design, technical innovation and rider protection across its product range.

Its helmet lineup is intended to cater to different riding needs, including urban commuting, everyday road riding and motorsport applications.

For MKA Group, the partnership provides an opportunity to introduce another international helmet brand to Malaysian riders, supported by its existing distribution network and experience in the local motorcycle industry.

Both companies also plan to develop R1DE’s local dealer network as the brand establishes its presence in Malaysia and expands into the wider region.

Further details regarding retail prices, product specifications, dealer availability and the official Malaysian market launch will be announced closer to the arrival of the first shipment in early 2027.
