In a significant development for the 2025 MotoGP season, Jack Miller has officially signed on to join the Prima Pramac Yamaha Factory Team, filling the final spot on the grid and competing in the championship alongside Miguel Oliveira.
Miller, an Australian racer with a commendable track record in MotoGP, is returning to familiar territory. He previously rode for Prima Pramac Racing from 2018 to 2020 with a Ducati machine, achieving notable success including nine podium finishes. His journey continued with a promotion to the factory Ducati team, where he clinched three race victories, and later with Red Bull KTM.
Lin Jarvis, Managing Director of Yamaha Motor Racing, expressed his enthusiasm about Miller’s return: “With 10 years of experience in the MotoGP class and stints with three different manufacturers, Jack’s extensive knowledge and racing prowess will be invaluable to Yamaha. We are committed to fully supporting him as we aim to enhance the performance of the M1 bike in 2025 and beyond.”

Unlike Oliveira’s two-year contract, Miller’s agreement spans only one year, yet he will receive a Factory 2025 YZR-M1 and full factory support, paralleling his teammate’s provisions.
Gino Borsoi, Team Manager at Pramac, will be working directly with Miller for the first time and is optimistic about the future. “Jack left a positive impact during his previous tenure with the team, and I am confident that we can replicate and exceed past successes,” Borsoi commented.
The signing comes after a period of uncertainty for Miller, who admitted to facing bleak prospects in staying within MotoGP as opportunities dwindled. His move to Pramac Yamaha marks a significant turnaround, situating him in a competitive position for the 2025 season.
As Pramac gears up to compete with factory-spec M1s, equal to the official Monster Yamaha team, and currently leads the MotoGP world championship with Jorge Martin, expectations are high for the upcoming season. Jack Miller’s return to Pramac and transition to Yamaha machinery is poised to add an exciting dynamic to the championship race.
