Ducati has taken centre stage at EICMA 2026, unveiling five new motorcycles, several updated models, and a preview of its upcoming Desmo250 EDS. The launches were made during the company’s final product presentation of the year, further expanding Ducati’s 2027 lineup across the sportbike, adventure, naked, and cruiser segments.
The event also marked the opening of a special exhibition celebrating Ducati’s 100th anniversary, showcasing iconic motorcycles and milestones from the Borgo Panigale manufacturer’s century-long history.

Five New Ducati Models Debut at EICMA 2026
Leading the announcements was the updated Diavel V4, which receives a sportier design, revised electronics, and improved technology for 2027. Ducati also introduced the new Diavel V4 S, equipped with Öhlins semi-active suspension and premium features, while becoming part of the company’s Ducati Factory Made (DFM) customisation programme.
Adventure riders were not left out, with Ducati unveiling the DesertX Rally MY27. Built around the brand’s new 890cc V2 engine, the latest DesertX Rally features an updated chassis, racing-inspired suspension, and improved off-road capability developed through years of rally competition.
The remaining three debuts are exclusive limited-edition models aimed at performance enthusiasts:
- Panigale V4 SP
- Streetfighter V4 SP
- Panigale V2 SP
Each model has been developed using technology inspired by Ducati’s WorldSBK and MotoGP racing programmes, with upgrades focused on track performance.

Diavel V4 Gets More Power, Technology and Customisation
The new Diavel V4 MY27 builds on Ducati’s muscle cruiser formula with a sharper design inspired by the Diavel V4 RS. Updates include redesigned air intakes, new wheels, revised bodywork, and a more aggressive rear section.
Under the bodywork remains the 168 hp V4 Granturismo engine, now paired with updated electronic calibration and the latest Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 system for smoother gear changes.
The return of the Diavel V4 S brings premium equipment such as Öhlins SmartEC-3 semi-active suspension, heated grips, a lithium-ion battery, and exclusive finishes.
Ducati has also introduced the Ducati Factory Made programme to the Diavel range, allowing customers to personalise their motorcycle with factory-installed colours, components, and styling packages.

DesertX Rally Built for Serious Off-Road Adventures
The new DesertX Rally MY27 has been designed for riders seeking greater off-road performance without compromising long-distance comfort.
Powered by Ducati’s new 890cc V2 engine producing 110 hp and 92 Nm of torque, the motorcycle features a lightweight monocoque frame, Full Floater rear suspension, and professional-grade KYB suspension with a closed-cartridge front fork.
Other highlights include:
- Adjustable Öhlins steering damper
- Takasago Excel tubeless wheels
- 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels
- Racing-inspired suspension components
- Improved stability and bump absorption
The updates aim to make the DesertX Rally more capable across challenging terrain while maintaining everyday versatility.

SP Models Bring Racing Technology to the Road
Ducati’s three new SP models represent the most performance-focused versions of their respective platforms. The Panigale V4 SP MY27 features carbon fibre wheels, an STM EVO-SBK dry clutch, racing gearbox, Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 suspension, and aerodynamic improvements derived directly from Ducati’s WorldSBK programme.
Meanwhile, the Panigale V2 SP has been developed as the homologation model for Ducati’s future FIM Supersport World Championship challenger. It receives forged wheels, premium Öhlins suspension, a longer swingarm, and race-inspired chassis upgrades.
Completing the trio is the Streetfighter V4 SP, which combines Ducati’s naked bike performance with carbon fibre wheels, Brembo MCS braking components, Öhlins electronic suspension, and exclusive “Winter Test” livery.

New Colours Join Ducati’s 2027 Lineup
Alongside the new motorcycles, Ducati also revealed several updated colour schemes across its existing range. The Scrambler Full Throttle receives a retro-inspired Heritage livery finished in green and bronze, while the Multistrada V2 gains a new Sport livery inspired by the Multistrada Pikes Peak.
The XDiavel V4 also returns with a striking Black Edition finish, giving Ducati’s power cruiser a more muscular appearance. Meanwhile, the Hypermotard 698 Mono RVE and Hypermotard V2 RVE receive fresh graphics and upgraded specifications to further enhance their sporty personalities.
One of the biggest surprises at EICMA was the preview of the Desmo250 EDS, Ducati’s upcoming lightweight enduro motorcycle. Following last year’s reveal of the Desmo450 EDS, the new 250cc model is expected to arrive at European dealerships during the summer of 2027, further expanding Ducati’s off-road portfolio.

Ducati Celebrates 100 Years at EICMA
Beyond its new motorcycles, Ducati is also celebrating its centenary with the “100 ANNI. 100 STORIE.” exhibition. The display takes visitors through a century of Ducati history, featuring legendary race bikes, historic engines, and championship-winning machines ridden by names such as Casey Stoner, Troy Bayliss, Carl Fogarty, Álvaro Bautista, Pecco Bagnaia, Loris Capirossi, Mike Hailwood, and Marco Lucchinelli.
Open throughout EICMA 2026, the exhibition highlights Ducati’s journey from its earliest innovations to its modern dominance in MotoGP and WorldSBK.
