Electric motorcycles have officially leveled up — and Verge Motorcycles just proved it in record-breaking style.

In a field once criticized for short riding ranges and long charging times, Verge has taken a giant leap forward. Its 2025 Verge TS Pro just shattered a Guinness World Record, setting a new standard for endurance and reliability in electric bikes.

193 Miles. 16 Hours. One Charge.

On March 22, 2025, Verge Motorcycles Finland set out on an ambitious mission in London with their TS Pro model. Piloted by EV industry influencers Sam Clarke and Sara Sloman, the Verge TS Pro navigated a real-world suburban route — complete with traffic, stoplights, and pedestrian crossings — with zero shortcuts and the bike’s charging port sealed shut.

After 16 straight hours of riding, the TS Pro covered a stunning 193.053 miles on a single charge, clinching the world record for the longest journey by an electric motorcycle without recharging.

And here’s the kicker: it still had about 7% battery left at the finish line. Verge’s team decided to stop to ensure accurate data recording, but it’s clear that 200 miles was easily within reach.

A Big Moment for Electric Motorcycles

Verge’s Chief Marketing Officer, Lauri Laukkanen, shared the team’s excitement:

“This record is a proud moment for the entire Verge team. We’ve been refining efficiency, driveability, and features for years, and this achievement shows the reliability and performance of our technology. It’s a bold step toward even bigger goals.”

The fact that the bike was completely stock — the same TS Pro any customer can buy — makes this achievement even more impressive. No special modifications, no gimmicks. Just pure Verge engineering.

Meet the Verge TS Pro

The Verge TS Pro isn’t just about records. It’s packed with innovation and serious performance, including:

  • Power: 136 horsepower
  • Torque: 737.5 lb-ft (yes, you read that right)
  • Top Speed: 124 mph
  • 0-60 MPH: 3.5 seconds
  • Battery: 20.2 kWh Li-Ion pack
  • Fast Charging Time: 35 minutes
  • Max Range: Up to 217 miles
  • Price: $29,900

Thanks to its hub-mounted motor design, the TS Pro frees up space for a bigger battery and achieves a lower center of gravity, improving handling and ride quality. Plus, the direct drive system means insane torque is delivered right to the wheel, making the bike as thrilling to ride as it is efficient.

What’s Next for Verge?

If the “base” TS Pro can break records like this, imagine what Verge’s more extreme model, the TS Ultra, could achieve. With even more power, range, and tech upgrades like radar systems and a new TFT dash, Verge is not just catching up with gas-powered bikes — they’re starting to pass them.

Electric motorcycles aren’t the future anymore. They’re the now. And Verge Motorcycles is leading the charge.
