Peugeot Motorcycles Malaysia has revised the pricing of its XP400 adventure scooter to RM33,990 in Malaysia, representing a RM10,000 reduction from its original launch price. With the Adventure Package included, the total price is RM35,990, excluding insurance, road tax and registration.

Imported as a completely built-up (CBU) unit, the XP400 receives the price adjustment following feedback from the local market, with the company aiming to make the model more accessible to Malaysian buyers.

Despite the price revision, the XP400’s specifications remain unchanged. Power comes from a 400cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder PowerMotion engine producing 36.7hp at 8,150rpm and 38.1Nm of torque at 5,400rpm. The engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a belt final drive.

Designed to combine everyday scooter practicality with adventure-inspired styling, the XP400 runs on a 17-inch front wheel and a 15-inch rear wheel, fitted with 110/70 and 160/60 tyres respectively. Suspension duties are handled by a 41mm upside-down front fork with 140mm of travel, while the rear features a monoshock absorber.

Braking is managed by twin 295mm front discs and a 240mm rear disc, supported by a dual-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as standard to help improve braking control. The XP400 has a seat height of 815mm, a wheelbase of 1,545mm and a kerb weight of 231kg. Its fuel tank has a capacity of 13.5 litres.

Equipment includes LED lighting and a TFT-LCD instrument display featuring twin analogue-style meters. The scooter also comes with Peugeot i-Connect Bluetooth connectivity, which supports turn-by-turn navigation through a connected smartphone. Underseat storage is available for carrying everyday essentials.

The Peugeot XP400 is offered in two colour options, Mad Black and Satin Technium. Availability is limited and subject to stock. Every unit also comes with the Adventure Package, comprising a genuine Peugeot top box and crash bars with a combined value of RM2,000.

The top box provides additional storage capacity, while the crash bars offer extra protection, making the package suitable for riders planning longer journeys.

With the revised price of RM33,990 or RM35,990 including the Adventure Package, the Peugeot XP400 offers Malaysian buyers an adventure-styled scooter with a 400cc engine, practical storage and touring-oriented equipment.
