Kawasaki has officially unveiled the all-new Z300 ahead of its scheduled launch in India, introducing a new entry-level model to the brand’s popular Z naked motorcycle lineup. Based on the Kawasaki Ninja 300, the upcoming streetfighter combines familiar performance with fresh styling, updated technology, and improved everyday comfort.
Bookings for the Kawasaki Z300 are set to begin on October 19, with the official launch, pricing, and full specifications expected to be announced on October 20.

Inspired by the Bigger Z Models
The new Z300 adopts Kawasaki’s signature Sugomi design language, taking clear inspiration from larger models such as the Z500 and Z900. It features a sharp front end with twin LED headlights, an aggressively sculpted fuel tank, exposed frame elements, and a muscular rear section that gives it a more premium streetfighter appearance.
Compared to the fully-faired Ninja 300, the Z300 offers a more minimalist design while retaining a sporty character that should appeal to riders looking for a versatile naked motorcycle.

Familiar Parallel-Twin Engine
Powering the Kawasaki Z300 is the same 296cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine found in the Ninja 300. The engine produces around 39 hp and 26.1 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
While the performance figures remain largely unchanged, the upright riding position and wide handlebar are expected to make the Z300 more comfortable for city commuting and everyday riding than its faired sibling.

Updated Features and Electronics
Instead of the Ninja 300’s ageing semi-digital display, the new naked bike is expected to feature a full LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and additional rider information. The updated display brings the motorcycle more in line with Kawasaki’s latest generation of models.
Mechanically, the Z300 is expected to retain telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock, 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-channel ABS, and disc brakes at both ends.
Expected Price
While Kawasaki has yet to announce the official price, the Z300 is expected to be priced at around ₹3 lakh (RM12,901) in India. This would position it below the Ninja 300, which currently retails for ₹3.34 lakh (RM14,363), making the Z300 a more affordable entry point into Kawasaki’s twin-cylinder lineup.
If Kawasaki manages to keep the price below the ₹3 lakh mark, the Z300 will offer strong value in the entry-level naked bike segment. It is expected to compete with models such as the KTM 390 Duke, TVS Apache RTR 310, and Triumph Speed 400, giving buyers another twin-cylinder option with a refined engine and premium Kawasaki styling.
