Chinese motorcycle brand Zontes is gaining popularity in the European and Asian regions with its medium-low capacity two-wheel product offering.

Most of the models cater to the demands of younger consumers with many modern technological features. The scooter also has a modern design and comes within an affordable budget. In fact, the 310 Zontes series model is able to offer performance and technology similar to the BMW G 310.

The year 2023 saw Zontes take the bold step of launching a scooter model to the European market after understanding trends in the region. In Spain and Italy, most of the best-selling models of 2022 are low-capacity scooters, i.e. under 150cc.

Automatic type transmission system with chain drive. The suspension system is telescopic forks in the front and adjustable dual absorbers in the rear.

14-inch alloy rims are wrapped in 100/8o (front) and 120/70 (rear) tires, while stopping duties are left to single disc brakes on both wheels.

There is no information on whether the scooter is equipped with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) or a Combined Braking System (CBS). It however does come with a colour TFT digital meter panel and keyless ignition system. The lighting system uses LED technology.

The Zontes 125M (2023) is expected to enter the French market at the end of next March. It will be hitting other European markets in the second quarter of this year.

The dimensions of the scooter are 2000mm long, 785mm wide and 1,220mm high. The wheelbase is 1,390mm. This scooter has a saddle height of 748mm, a weight of 160kg and a tank capacity of 12 litres.
