Los Angeles bike scene continue to evolve with Outlier’s Guild Moto Show

The second annual Outlier’s Guild Moto Show in Los Angeles unleashed some of the greatest range of customized bikes.

With 130 bikes from 24 customizers on display, the event was definitely eye-catching. Many enthusiasts were showered with the variants of custom bikes alongside the two-dimensional art and another glorious moto mannequin scene by artist and customizer Roland Sands. There were also live bands and food trucks keeping them company.

“It’s younger, it’s a different vibe, more millennial,” said co-organizer John Pangilinan.

It’s LA’s version of big shows like Handbuilt in Austin and The One Moto Show in Portland.

“I’m like, ‘Dude, we need a show,” said SoCal customizer and OG co-founder Jay LaRossa. “Eighty percent of the builders are here!”

The event was no doubt a huge success. The customizers double from 12 to 24 and there were more moto artists hanging drawings and photographs of motorcycle art around the gallery’s walls.

The Los Angeles biking scene continues to expand and embrace more diversity and new range of crowds, thanks to this show, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride and regular events at Lucky Garage.
