Rapid KL will deploy 85 buses for a special shuttle service to the PETRONAS Grand Prix of Malaysia 2026 at Sepang International Circuit (SIC) from 30 October to 1 November, providing transport options for spectators attending the three-day event.
The service will operate from selected locations in Kuala Lumpur and KLIA Terminal 2, allowing visitors to travel to the circuit without having to drive directly to the venue.
Passengers travelling from Pasar Seni Bus Hub and the KLCC bus stop will be charged RM20 for a one-way ticket or RM35 for a return ticket. Both locations are connected to the Kelana Jaya Line, while Pasar Seni also provides access to the Kajang Line.
Meanwhile, spectators travelling from KLIA Terminal 2 can take the shuttle bus to SIC for RM12 one way. The airport also offers connections to the KLIA Ekspres service for passengers travelling from Kuala Lumpur.
Shuttle Bus Schedule and Ticket Information
For the KLIA Terminal 2 route, buses heading to Sepang International Circuit will begin operating at 7am, with departures every 30 minutes. The last bus to the circuit will leave at 1pm. Return services from SIC will start at 4pm, with the final bus departing at 7pm.
According to Bernama, Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Syahrul Azmir Ahmad Zaki said tickets would be available from 22 October at selected customer service counters and Pasar Seni Bus Hub.
“Every year, motorsports fans from various locations gather in Sepang to experience the excitement of this world-class race firsthand.
“Rapid KL hopes this service will make their journeys to the circuit easier and more comfortable,” he said.
Free Shuttle Service Around Sepang Circuit
In addition to the transport services connecting Kuala Lumpur and KLIA Terminal 2 to the circuit, Rapid KL will work with Sepang International Circuit to provide a free shuttle service within the circuit grounds throughout the event.
The service is intended to help spectators move between locations around the venue during the Malaysian MotoGP weekend. Spectators are advised to purchase their shuttle tickets in advance to avoid long queues and waiting times, particularly during peak travel periods.
