Nolan has expanded its premium sports helmet range with the new X-804 ST Ultra Carbon, introducing a more versatile interpretation of its flagship X-804 RS Ultra Carbon for riders who want racing-inspired performance with a design better suited to everyday road use and sport touring.

Part of Nolan’s 2027 collection, the X-804 ST retains the technical foundation of the X-804 RS while adopting a more understated appearance and greater emphasis on connectivity.

The new model is designed for riders who appreciate the engineering and aerodynamic development of a high-performance sports helmet but prefer a more discreet look for daily commutes, longer journeys and spirited road riding.

The Nolan X-804 ST Ultra Carbon shares its core architecture with the X-804 RS Ultra Carbon, including its compact shell design, aerodynamic development, visor system, ventilation concept and performance-oriented fit.

The main visual difference is its shorter rear spoiler, which gives the helmet a cleaner silhouette while reducing its race-focused appearance. Nolan has also adopted more restrained graphics to create a contemporary sporting design without losing the distinctive character of its X-Series range.

Despite these changes, the X-804 ST remains rooted in the performance-focused design of the X-804 platform. Rather than introducing an entirely new technical package, Nolan has adapted the existing foundation to suit a broader range of riding styles.

This approach makes the helmet an option for riders who want a sporty design without the more aggressive appearance associated with a dedicated racing helmet.

One of the key features of the X-804 ST is its compatibility with Nolan’s N-Com communication systems, adding connectivity for riders who want to stay connected on the road.

The helmet supports N-Com Bluetooth+ and N-Com Mesh, developed in partnership with Sena. These systems provide communication functions such as rider-to-rider intercom, phone calls, music playback and navigation audio.

Nolan X-804 ST

The Nolan X-804 ST Ultra Carbon forms part of the brand’s new 2027 collection and is currently entering the market with probability to be displayed at the upcoming EICMA 2026.

In Malaysia, however, the ST variant is not yet widely available at local physical retailers. Distributors currently offer the more race-focused Nolan X-804 RS Ultra Carbon, with prices ranging from approximately RM2,969 to RM3,869, depending on the variant.
