The 2026 FIM Superbike World Championship season ended in spectacular fashion as Nicolò Bulega completed a flawless weekend at Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto, helping Aruba.it Racing – Ducati achieve an unprecedented milestone of winning all 36 races in a single WorldSBK season.
Bulega capped off the final round with pole position and victories in all three races, ensuring the factory Ducati team closed the championship with a perfect record. It is the first time in WorldSBK history that a team has won every race in a season.

Historic Achievement for Aruba.it Racing – Ducati
Aruba.it Racing – Ducati entered the final round with history already within reach, and Bulega made sure there would be no missed opportunity. His clean sweep at Jerez completed an extraordinary campaign for the Italian squad.
Across the 2026 season, reigning World Champion Bulega claimed 32 race victories, while teammate Iker Lecuona added four wins. Together, they delivered an incredible total of 36 victories from 36 races.
The achievement not only sets a new benchmark in the Superbike World Championship but also underlines Ducati’s dominance throughout the season.

Bulega Equals Troy Bayliss’ Win Record
Bulega’s latest victories also saw him reach another significant milestone in his career. With 32 wins this season, the Italian rider increased his career WorldSBK victory tally to 52, drawing level with Ducati legend Troy Bayliss on the all-time winners list.
His consistency, speed and ability to perform under pressure have made him one of the standout riders of the modern WorldSBK era.

Special Ducati Centenary Tribute at Jerez
To mark the occasion, both Ducati riders took to the track in a special silver glitter livery and matching racing leathers created to celebrate Ducati’s 100th anniversary.
The unique design was developed by Ducati Centro Stile in collaboration with Drudi Performance and drew inspiration from the iconic Ducati 750 Imola Desmo.
The commemorative colours paid tribute to Ducati’s memorable one-two finish at the 1972 Imola 200 Miles race, where Paul Smart and Bruno Spaggiari secured one of the most important victories in the manufacturer’s racing history. More than five decades later, Ducati brought those historic colours back to the racetrack as part of its centenary celebrations.

A Season That Will Be Remembered
The special livery also featured an Italian tricolour running along the side fairings, symbolising the all-Italian success behind the championship-winning campaign.
From the talent of Nicolò Bulega and the contributions of Iker Lecuona to the performance of the Ducati Panigale V4 R and the efforts of the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team, the 2026 season will be remembered as one of the most dominant campaigns ever witnessed in WorldSBK.
Winning every race across an entire championship is a feat that had never previously been achieved, making Aruba.it Racing – Ducati’s perfect season one for the history books.
