Malaysia Autoshow 2027 Set to Return to MAEPS Serdang in June

The five-day event will showcase new vehicles, automotive technologies and mobility developments while bringing together manufacturers, industry players and motoring communities.

The Malaysia Autoshow 2027 is set to return to the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) from June 4 to 8, 2027, bringing together vehicle manufacturers, technology providers, industry players and motoring enthusiasts.

The announcement was made during the Jalur Gemilang Gathering at MAEPS Serdang, where more than 230 vehicles and owners from different automotive communities gathered to celebrate Malaysia Day.

Adding a Malaysian touch to the event, vehicles representing the four colours of the Jalur Gemilang were arranged to create a large-scale representation of the national flag.

The gathering brought together owners from different backgrounds and automotive communities, with participation extending beyond specific vehicle brands, segments or types.

According to the organisers, Malaysia Autoshow 2027 is expected to showcase the latest vehicles, automotive technologies and developments in mobility, while giving visitors an opportunity to explore new products and emerging industry trends. The event is jointly organised by Moonman Events and the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii).

Boo Dickson, CEO of Moonman Events, said grassroots automotive activities remain an important part of the Malaysia Autoshow’s role in developing the country’s automotive community.

“Malaysia Autoshow is ultimately about people. Events like the Jalur Gemilang Gathering show how our shared passion for mobility can bring together Malaysians from different backgrounds, different communities and with different interests.”

He added that Malaysia’s automotive culture extends beyond new vehicle launches and the wider automotive industry, encompassing vehicle owners, clubs, enthusiasts and communities across the country.

The country’s diverse car culture has also gained international exposure, including through its appearance in the latest season of The Grand Tour.

Members of the public can register their interest through the official Malaysia Autoshow website to receive updates on ticket sales, participating brands, programmes and activities as more details about the 2027 edition are announced.
