2027 MotoGP Calendar Revealed: 22 Rounds, New Argentina and Adelaide Races

The new-season calendar will visit five continents from March to November, with Sepang hosting the Malaysian Grand Prix on 24 October.

MotoGP has officially unveiled its 2027 World Championship calendar, with 22 Grands Prix scheduled across five continents from March to November.

The 2027 season will introduce two new venues to the calendar, with the championship returning to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and making its debut at the Adelaide Street Circuit in Australia.

The season will begin at Buriram, Thailand, from 5 to 7 March, before travelling to Qatar and Brazil. Argentina will then return to the MotoGP calendar for the first time in the 2027 season, with the Autódromo Oscar y Juan Gálvez in Buenos Aires hosting Round 4 from 9 to 11 April.

The championship will then head to Austin before beginning its European stretch at Jerez, followed by Le Mans, Mugello, Barcelona, Assen, Sachsenring and Brno. After the summer break, MotoGP will return at Silverstone, followed by Austria, Misano, Aragón and Portimão.

The Asian and Oceania leg will begin with the Japanese Grand Prix at Mobility Resort Motegi on 17 October, before the championship heads to Sepang, Malaysia.

For Malaysian fans, the PETRONAS Malaysian Grand Prix will take place at Petronas Sepang International Circuit from 22 to 24 October 2027, making it Round 19 of the championship. Malaysia’s place on the MotoGP calendar has already been confirmed through 2031. After Sepang, the championship heads to Mandalika, Indonesia, from 29 to 31 October.

The final two rounds will take MotoGP to Australia and Spain. The new Adelaide Street Circuit will host Round 21 from 12 to 14 November, marking MotoGP’s first visit to the South Australian city. The season will then conclude at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia from 26 to 28 November.

The 2027 season will also mark the start of MotoGP’s new technical era, with new motorcycle regulations coming into effect alongside the expanded calendar.
