Vespa’s new Primavera, Sprint and Sprint Tech lineup showcases Vespa’s evolution in terms of design and technology whilst staying true to their heritage.

Vespa Malaysia officially unveiled three new 180cc scooters at Art of Speed 2026 at MAEPS Serdang. Distributed by ByDIDI, the lineup features the Primavera S 180 (RM21,500), Sprint S 180 (RM21,900), and Sprint Tech 180 (RM23,500). All models include a 4-year or 60,000 km factory warranty and will hit authorized nationwide dealerships this month.
Representing the evolution of Vespa’s unmistakable Italian design, the latest Primavera and Sprint lineup combines timeless styling with meaningful technological upgrades, enhanced rider comfort, and a more powerful engine. All of this offers greater confidence and performance while still staying true to Vespa’s spirit of freedom and self-expression.
These new range of scooters are powered by Vespa’s latest i-Get air-cooled single-cylinder engine displacing 180cc, which is able to provide improved acceleration, smoother power delivery, and better efficiency. Power is similar throughout the range, with the engine being able to produce 14.75 hp at 8,250 rpm and 13.7 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.

Both the Primavera S 180 and Sprint S 180 now features a new full-colour LCD instrument displaying an improves user interface and real-time riding information. These models now also come with keyless operation which allows riders to lock, unlock and start their scooter using a smart key fob. Braking wise, it uses a single brake disc with ABS up front and a mechanical drum brake in the rear.
For the flagship Sprint Tech 180, it features a 5-inch full-colour TFT display as well as keyless operation. Braking wise, it gets a more advanced setup. Dual-disc braking with 2-channel ABS.
What’s new for models throughout the range are are redesigned alloy wheels, revamped body detailing, revised Vespa tie logo up front, a retractable bag hook, and a commemorative 80th anniversary emblem celebrating eight decades of Vespa heritage. Owners can further personalise their Vespa with a range of genuine accessories from Vespa’s catalogue.
The Vespa Primavera S introduces premium bronze accents, diamond-cut wheels, upgraded saddle materials and refined finishing touches, and are available in two colour schemes: White Innocente and Blue Capri.
The Vespa Sprint S portrays an even more dynamic character through striking red accents, newly designed seat and updated wheel finishes, available in five colour schemes: White Innocente, Matt Black Convinto, Grey Intrepido, Green Tenace and Grey Essenziale.
The Vespa Sprint Tech represents the most technologically advanced Sprint ever made, pairing modern aesthetics with premium rider technology into one complete package and are available in three colour schemes: White Innocente, Matt Black Convinto and Matt Grey Travolgente.
