Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia, through byDIDI Sdn Bhd, has expanded its Modern Classic lineup with the launch of the all-new Tracker 400 and Thruxton 400 at Art of Speed 2026 (AOS 2026), held at MAEPS Serdang.

The new models are priced at RM27,900 for the Tracker 400 and RM29,900 for the Thruxton 400, excluding road tax and insurance. The launch also marks the first time Triumph has offered motorcycles in Malaysia below the RM30,000 price point.

Leading the launch is the Tracker 400, Triumph’s first flat track-inspired motorcycle in the 400cc segment. While it shares its foundation with the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X, the Tracker 400 adopts a distinctive flat track design with wide handlebars, repositioned footpegs and a dedicated chassis setup designed to deliver sharper handling and a more engaging riding experience.

The motorcycle also features a unique seat cowl, number board, boxy fuel tank, flyscreen and newly designed wheels wrapped in Pirelli MT60 RS tyres, giving it a purposeful flat track appearance.

Power comes from Triumph’s 398cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 41.4 hp at 9,000 rpm and 37.5 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox equipped with a slipper and assist clutch.

Suspension duties are handled by 43 mm upside-down front forks offering 140 mm of travel, while preload-adjustable rear monoshock suspension. Braking is managed by a 300 mm front disc with a Bybre four-piston radial caliper and a 230 mm rear disc.

The Tracker 400 rides on 17-inch wheels, features a 13-litre fuel tank, 805 mm seat height and weighs approximately 173 kg wet. It is available in Racing Yellow, Phantom Black and Aluminium Silver Gloss.

Joining the Tracker 400 is the highly anticipated Thruxton 400, which brings Triumph’s iconic café racer styling into the brand’s entry-level lineup.

Inspired by the larger Thruxton 1200, the Thruxton 400 adopts a classic café racer silhouette complete with clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs, creating a sportier riding position while maintaining everyday usability.

Mechanically, the Thruxton 400 shares the same platform and engine as the Tracker 400, producing 41.4 hp and 37.5 Nm from its 398cc single-cylinder engine.

Despite their different styling, both motorcycles feature the same electronics package, including ride-by-wire throttle, switchable traction control, dual-channel ABS, a combination analogue and digital instrument cluster, and a USB-C charging port. The Thruxton 400 is available in Phantom Black with Aluminium Silver, Pearl Metallic White with Storm Grey, and Metallic Racing Yellow.

Both models are backed by Triumph’s two-year unlimited mileage warranty, which also covers genuine Triumph accessories. Owners will also benefit from class-leading service intervals, helping to reduce long-term ownership costs.

The Tracker 400 and Thruxton 400 will be available at authorised Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia dealerships nationwide, further expanding the British manufacturer’s growing range of accessible Modern Classic motorcycles in the local market.
