KYMCO XCITING VS 400 Launch

Showcased at the Malaysia Bike Show 2026 back in May, this scooter is marketed as a sport-touring maxi scooter that is designed to provide a balance between everyday practicality with comfort and confident performance on longer journeys.

This maxi scooter is powered by a 400 cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve single-cylinder engine that produces around 33.4 horsepower at 7,250 rpm and 37.5 Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm, which is delivered to te rear wheels via an automatic continuously variable transmission (CVT).

It uses a 15-inch wheel wrapped around a 120/70 tyre up front and a 14-inch wheel wrapped around a 150/70 tyre in the rear. Suspension wise, the XCITING VS 400 uses a telescopic fork up front and twin rear shock absorbers with 5-steps preload adjustment suspension setup in the rear.

Braking performance comes from dual disc brakes up front and a single disc brake in the rear that is paired with dual-channel ABS.

Among the key features that this scooter has includes a traction control system, a five-level adjustable windscreen for added comfortability, keyless operation, a two-stage seat, a digital LCD display, 29 litres of illuminated under-seat storage, as well as LED lighting throughout the whole scooter with Daytime Running Lights (DRL).

This maxi scooter weighs around 213kg with a seat height of 805mm and can carry upwards of 12.5L of fuel. Backed by a two-year or 20,000 km warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms and conditions, sales of the XCITING VS 400 will commence on 15th August 2026 through authorised MODENAS dealers nationwide.
