Keeway Malaysia has officially announced the implementation of a Product Recall Program for the KEEWAY XDV 180 Evo model following the identification of a possible durability issue with the swingarm assembly component. The program involves approximately 5,000 units of the motorcycle and is implemented as a proactive measure to ensure the safety and durability of the motorcycle is always at the best level.

According to Keeway Malaysia, this action is taken as part of the company’s commitment to ensuring that every KEEWAY XDV 180 Evo owner can enjoy a safer and more confident riding experience. To overcome this issue, Keeway Malaysia has provided new swingarm components that have received improvements in terms of design and durability.

These updated components are specially designed to offer a stronger structure and increase the motorcycle’s stability when riding in various road conditions. These improvements are also expected to provide better long-term durability compared to the original components.

Keeway Malaysia urges all KEEWAY XDV 180 Evo owners who have previously purchased the motorcycle to check whether their unit is involved in this recall program. Checking can be done via the official Product Recall website at: https://productrecall.mforceservice.my

If the motorcycle’s chassis number is listed as an affected unit, the owner can directly contact or visit the authorized Keeway Malaysia dealer where the motorcycle was purchased to set up an appointment date for the replacement process.

The entire swingarm replacement process will be carried out free of charge to all affected owners. This includes the provision of new swingarm components and installation costs, at no additional charge to the customer. This measure is taken to ensure that all affected motorcycles receive the upgraded components without any additional burden to the owner.

At the same time, Keeway Malaysia would like to express its appreciation to all customers for their cooperation, trust and support throughout this program. The company also reiterated its commitment to continue offering high-quality motorcycles along with reliable after-sales service, ensuring that the satisfaction and safety of every customer is always a priority.
